Heading back from the bellarine today.

Heart always sinks when you open vline and next to the geelong line is the CURSE of the little yellow spanner.

My bad for not checking earlier.

But jeez wading through 39(!) pages of bus replacement timetable would be tricky if one’s not used to it.

Very enjoying Baby Reindeer on Netflix. It is quite strange, and very good imo. TL:dr: Failing comedian leads on a stalker, even after knowing she’s a stalker. Shit gets weird. Themes are quite dark, and include rape and sexual assault. Only 4 EPs in but would recommend

weeee, 2 weeks of break finally.

Also finally figured out a few things with my car, Somehow I ended up with a leak thanks to a plastic bag being stuck in my back boot and water seeped in via that and made a giant pool where my spare type compartment was.

Discovered it while I was at work and furiously got some containers to scoop as much of the water out.

When I got home I paper toweled and dried everything as much as possible and lifted the compartment panel which will hopefully air dry what little is left but finally now I can rest easy know where that mysterious slushing sound of water was coming from whenever I stopped at a set of traffic lights.

Ok, I’m tired now and need food!

Well, for me I don’t trust meta. And yes I know WhatsApp is meta, but I’m sort of locked into it on account of almost everyone I am in contact with using it. Just don’t like the idea of meta based AI possibly using my messages for learning.

Ugh. We started using it for work during the lockdowns, but now it’s only used for odd rare work messaging. Might see if I can get the boss to knock it on the head.

I am currently fuming about this too. I don’t even have auto update enabled on my apps so how did it happen? Turns out WhatsApp apparently can roll out server-side updates at any time??? And there’s no way to opt out of this stupid update either.

I can’t not use it either as it’s the only way I can stay in touch with most of my relatives, I can’t get them to switch to Telegram or Signal…

The irritating thing is that apparently the toggle switch was already there all this while. I really hope there’s enough backlash to force meta to reintroduce it because this is total bs. The server side updates are really not cool either :/

It’s bright and sunny here. But I slipped on the stairs because they were wet and I didn’t realise because of all the sun, so I believe you

took 4.5 hrs back from the bellarine.

Everything went wrong… time for wine.

The funniest was at the 48 stop outside southern x and the arrival kept ticking from 3mins, to 2, back to 3, then 1 for a solid 15 mins. Then it arrives with no one on it. Sort of like the movie ghost ship.

Kew, so close yet so far away. Honestly it boggles the mind how long the tram takes. A good chunk of time is just spent going down Collins St and creakily turning into Vic Pde. Not having a train is a bit of a far Kew to residents.

I’ve been road testing Aldi’s organic black tea because Choice declared it the best tea and I don’t know how it came to that conclusion. I’m not good at describing liquids but I’ll give it a go anyway.

There’s a distinct taste of floral. It wasn’t overly strong. Definite dry aftertaste on the palate. To me it lacked a base taste. Like if tea was 3D then this would be 2D. It tasted flat.

It would be good as a Billy tea because it had a bushy earthy taste. Bushells, Tetley, Twinings all taste better imo. Anyway it wasn’t bad, I’ll keep drinking it but I wouldn’t buy it again. 3.5 / 5 yum yums.

I’ve been finding that quite a bit with Aldi teas (Diplomat brand). It’s got front flavour notes, but no depth.

Problem can be solved by using two bags, but then you’re paying the same as a major brand.

It’s good to know it’s not just me.

I bought some more coffee from there. I remembered you said to pick one from South America. Choice of Peru and Honduras. I picked Peru.

Good choice. Peru, Honduras and Ecuador are all good. Brazil and Colombia are good, but not as good as the others.

Love rainy mornings that clear up before lunch. Something very refreshing about it.

Just waiting for my neighbour to start watering his lawn now…

So I went to kmart to buy a dog harness and lead for ted cat because the cat ones are too small. This way I hope to let him have some outside time without running away.

I haven’t attempted to put it on him yet. 😬 Photos coming soon.
