J.D. is not weird, he’s a solid rock. I happen to be a very solid rock. We’re not weird. We’re other things, perhaps, but we’re not weird. But [Tim Walz] is a weird guy, he walks on the stage, there’s something wrong with that guy, and he called me weird. And then the fake news media picks it up, that was the word of the day. Weird, weird, weird, they’re all going. But we’re not weird guys

Just because the traitors in the Senate refused to convict him for the coup attempt, that doesn’t make it “okay” for him to run! The 14th Amendment applies whether the corrupt government acknowledges reality or not.

This shit isn’t legitimate; it’s tyranny.

Well, you can complain about it all you want, but in the real world, he’s going to be on the ballot in all 50 states and pretending he isn’t achieves nothing.

That’s not the same thing as saying it’s “okay” and you fucking know it.

You seem to have misread the original post. It didn’t say anything about pretending he isn’t a candidate. What it said was:

Can we stop pretending like it’s ok for this guy to be running for president?

            Emphasis mine

So, poster was suggesting that it’s wrong for us to pretend that it is reasonable for a corrupt, criminal wanna-be fascist dictator running for president.

I kind of agree. It’s not something we should consider ok. However, it is par for the course.
