Pakidge! Am now in temporary possession of a vampire llama Halloween jumper. It is ridonkulous.
Pix please! There is a vampire llama shaped hole in my life that I didn’t know existed.
It’s highly internetsble, but ok
Love it! That sneer that llamas do so well!
I slipped and fell last night right on my bum and today my tailbone / sacrum is definitely bruised. Good excuse for a lazy day but I can’t help wondering at what ages does one go from “fell over” to “had a fall”… 🧓
Tripped over something, stepped on something slippery etc. = “fell over”
Ended up on the ground because you can no longer balance while standing without something to hold on to = “had a fall”
I don’t know, but a couple of weeks ago I turned my head slightly the wrong way and had to go the physio lol
I’m in complete denial about stuff like this, despite having put my back out really badly in the past by bending down to pick up a tea towel
You are old when you have a fall and end up with a broken hip and in hospital lol
What are people’s plans today? Grand Final related or not
Drinking and painting DnD mini’s.
I love this. 🙂
Movies. Runt. May require 2nd mortgage to pay for tickets and snacks.
Washing my hair and apparently getting a pakidge. Seems a bit odd, but that’s what the email said.
We ended up going to a car show in the morning so the boys could look at a bunch of classic cars
Then in the afternoon I took the boys for a ride for a bit of a bush kinder
Look at that spot. There’s no way you could get two kids and a pram there on foot or in a car
Work 😊 2.5x pay
Love those public holiday rates!
Going to the market to buy footy snacks, then chilling out in the sun
Did a beach walk and tried a cafe which matched the online reviews (the odd one hasn’t).
Now on the third load of washing and doing a bit of sorting in the spare/office room.Drinking and cleaning gutters. Hopefully not in that order.
Oh what a beautiful morning,
Oh what a beautiful day,
I’ve got a beautiful feeling,
The washing will get dry today.
Lol nice
Putting together a large trampoline. Gawd help me

weeding. cooking. showering Miss Meow with attention.
Not much. Wondering if I should get the washing done since the sun is out it wait till tomorrow.
Need food and coffee though.
Working but taking a day in lieu next Friday.
Walk in park. Will work on my sewing machine.
Laundry, made more waffles, more laundry, tidied up a bit. Gotta nip out and grab some shopping. Lament the loss of wages from not working today (cries in casual worker whose boss would rather shut the business than pay anyone extra for working) Nothing major.
That sucks. I feel like the public holidays outside of the major religious ones are paid days off for office workers.
A lot needs to be done here around the treatment of casual workers. The 25% loading isn’t enough and it has shown not to be an incentive for employers to move people across to part or full time
No shit….
You don’t know how it feels…
RIP Tom Petty
nooo
I know but…he dead
I am getting to that age 😔
Felt really tired today for no real reason. So of course, now I am not sleepy at all.
Market run is great success. Free ice cream from Sam
Just a weird day here.
But what is not weird. I don’t think I will ever tire of looking at the stars. They are always beautiful and wondrous. 🌃
I love it when I’m in country areas with less light pollution. So many stars!
i shall arise
Bacon anesti
Ha, that was funny - was cooking dinner and due to the cats deciding that they wanted food Right Now and me trying to cook, feed them and not trip on them simultaneously, I grabbed and used the 1/3 cup measure instead of the tablespoon one. Turned out delicious, though, so no complaints in the end.
They Ratatouille’d you
As much as I cherish my nephews and nieces, I myself could not in all good conscience bring a child into this toxic world.
I’ve chosen not to and I think everyone will be happier for it
thank you
if good people stop having having children then there will only be the children of bad people
Or people that are just more optimistic have them (whether the optimism is reasonable is a matter of opinion I suppose).
optimism has great value, without optimism no one would try to make the world a better place
Optimism by its nature is unreasonable.
That’s what makes it so powerful.
I’m still struggling both physically and mentally. Forcing myself to do stuff is backfiring and causing a lot of stress. But the alternative is to just do nothing? Indefinitely?
I’ve inexpertly taken the soil samples and only just remembered - even if they come back safe I might not use the soil because there’s the cat poo to consider.
When I adopted Melbcat she was an outdoor girlie. While that was years ago and she’s now adjusted to being a litterbox enjoyer, I can’t promise the same for the visiting cats or possums.
The free food market was small today but I managed to get enough to pull together meals for a few days. My most urgent need was tomatoes and fruit, which I did manage to get. Now I just need to do a proper menu plan for the next few days and I’m set.
Miserable Melbourne weather out west after a ripper 29C yesterday, guess it was to prepare me for coming back home. I’m still feeling anxious about uni and not being up to what’s required of me - but the TLC at my aunties has been really great. I’m glad I’m not staying longer or I think I’d get to a point of indulged-in inertia that I won’t be able to get out of in a hurry…
I’m a learner gardener and have inadvertently bumped off more plants than I care to admit. Despite this track record, these orchids have been going strong for about 15 years, so I thought I’d show them off
ooh looking healthy!
Beautiful! I love cymbidium orchids.
Heckin good orchids - that’s pretty awesome work I’d say.
They are beautiful!
