A bit of a bummer, but the writers and actors getting a fair shake is more important in the long run.

    The reason given is that the actors aren’t available to do promotion in the lead up to a november release.

    I don’t know enough about the effect of that kind of marketing to really say if that’s a reasonable excuse or not. I want to film to be a financial success, but I’m also someone who literally had the iMax page bookmarked and I’d check it every day to see if there was news on tickets. It doesn’t necessarily feel like a title that’s going to require a lot of marketing effort (the first film essentially is the marketing), but I could be off base.
