Is there any way to get blood tests done in the United States without it going into your permanent record? I’m working on leaving the us within months and I know poor health can cause governments to reject immigration applications. I have been healthy so far, but I don’t want to ignore any signs of something possibly creeping up on me.

… been on the other side of the escape hatch in South America a few weeks now. My country has national and private insurance, both won’t pay for preexisting anything for 2 years, also no psychiatric coverage ever, but with vision/dental included it seems like a good trade. Red tape’s been painful while being new to Spanish but, getting your point across while both parties are operating with a 3 or 4 year old’s vocabulary can be hilarious/quite fun.

IIRC the only thing we needed was a physical done within 90 (30?) days of traveling to your country of choice for immigration (this applies only to the EU, because that’s where we emigrated to) and honestly don’t think they took blood work.

Is it part of your visa requirements?

Also, just so you know, you can go ahead and get any tests done because the country only accepts the paperwork you give them.

We Europeans are just so used to our freedom-hating socialist communist ways that we don’t recognise freedom when we see it. Or something like that.
