The unknown in general is scary to most people
I wonder if the unobservable universe is scary. After all, it’s mostly just the same shit we know, we just can’t see it because the light where it came from hasn’t reached us yet. It doesn’t mean that it’s pitch black basically.
Dying is scary, because it is often painful.
