Looking to grow my instance eventually, but for now I’m just getting the hang of everything and making sure I can keep a server stable without issues.
Happy to report it’s been pretty easy peasy and up and running for the last 10 days or so. I ran updates on it once which went through without trouble, so I’m not sure what kind of maintenance the folks at Lemmy.world are having to do. I’d guess besides the DDOS attacks, probably maintenance related to their databases and server resources since they serve so many.
I’d let you on mine if you’re interested, but I can’t make big promises and you’d pretty much be helping me beta test. Again though so far so good, I’m getting a reasonably good mix on my feed.
But I could also give myself a cool address.
