The computer was part of an offshore seismic survey system, and rested in this buoy, powered by an onboard diesel generator. A ship ran over the buoys and sank it, breaking open the aluminium canister for the computer. When we recovered the sensor array and the buoy a week later we took it apart for spares, and inside the chassis I found a fish.
