Everyone knows elevators are just a way to hide loading screens
It’s pretty suspicious that going up 2 floors in an apartment building takes as long as going up 10 floors in an office building.
Lol, elevator speed is a cost thing. Gotta keep those office grunts at their desks working(they also move a lot more people and if you get a fast elevator you cut down the number needed .
To be fair it’s also a capacity thing. If an elevator goes more slowly it can carry more weight. People moving in/out of apartments might need to carry furniture, while usually office elevators just have to carry people.
Partly true. People weigh a LOT and I mean a LOT for the amount of space they take up in the elevator.
I’ll have you know, I’ve been losing weight, so don’t lump me in with those people.
Why is fox entertainment always mixed in with news companies…I know what they claim, but you should know better. It’s NOT news and never will be.
Nor is Vice or reddit
When Vice was printed media, they had better journalism than most. What the fuck happened that they are now not even news?
Their good journalists left
They filled for bankruptcy and fired all their staff. Once they were something important but not anymore. They are basically another Newsweek clone now.
Vice is investigative journalism, which used to be fairly common among news Networks, but it takes actual work so it has fallen out of favor.
I keep forgetting to watch the Truman show. Thanks for reminding me.
~It was in my script.~
I mean, no problem!
Prey (2017)
I just started playing it recently. I played around with those elevators way too long. :D
I refuse to believe it!!!
It’s just a silent teleport. You can’t put one sector on top of another.
That bit in Hard Boiled where they take a lift between two floors of bad guys in a single take, but it’s actually the same set reset by stage hands, is proof of this.
There’s no door, only knobs
BET is always trying to convince me of this.
BET?
They produce a lot of elevator-centric content.
and i thought snopes told the truth /s
Am I missing something about snopes, or am I reading into this comment the wrong way?
Snopes is excellent for urban legends.
They seem to be pressing doubt on this one, which is where I have leaned as well.
This isn’t snopes but it’s the same strategy they use. See if you agree with the false conclusion.
