Awesome post. As a former IT person who has worn many other hats over the years, I couldn’t agree with you more.

At least you’re not 50, like me. Ugh.
In my experience, when you get an over-the-top response from someone from a sh.itjust.works user, the best response it to just block them.
As an actual man from Nantucket (though not that one) lemme fill you in:
There once was a man from Nantucket,
Whose dick was so long he could suck it.
He said with a grin,
As he wiped off his chin,
“If my ear was a cunt I would fuck it.”
I’m sure a rational response is just going to get downvoted to oblivion, but it’s actually a fun game. Not my favorite from Bethesda, but I definitely enjoyed the 1k hours I put into it last year, and I look forward to dipping back in once the DLC drops and there are more mods (not paid creations) available.
I agree with your analysis, and only differ in that I do pay for YouTube Premium because I get a TON of use out of YouTube music - you really can’t beat their library of obscure and live music!
Inertia is a mofo. I did embedded programming for industrial automation almost thirty years ago, building upon and expanding an existing nightmare of C code… and I bet there’s still some of mine running something out there to this day.
That’s just a list of things I don’t want (except Phone Link, which I’m already enjoying in Win10 as an Android phone user)
Funny, both times I’ve been summoned they dismissed me for stating (honestly) that I hate cops in general and would not be impartial at all.
I live in Massachusetts and I used the IRS free file service this year, for both state and federal taxes. It was a very painless process, and I had my federal refund in my bank account in less than ten days!! It really works.
Stockholm Syndrome.
I was so excited when I stumbled across the Enhanced Edition on Steam! (I hadn’t played it since it was first released, and had lost the original disc)
Well, that’s just silly! We all know they were getting their advanced tech from Hydra.

In no particular order:
(I’m sure that last one will raise some eyebrows, but I’ve already got over 1k hours in it since launch. For all its faults, it scratches some itch of mine just right.)
Really? Are you on the spectrum?
You’re not wrong, as far as the logical expansion of the statements in question. The ‘with no stipulations’ part is, technically, unnecessary. But we don’t live in a Platonic ideal. You are free to add reinforcing/qualifying statements to a basic idea being posited. If you’re being sincere in your request for clarity, and not just being a snark, my advice would be to ignore everything I say and just do as you want! LOL
And it works! I followed that recipe in the 80s, to hilariously non-fatal results.
Unless this is 5D chess and Google is willfilly[sic] using itself as a cautionary tale to discourage future webservice sites from arbitrarily inserting AI into its features.
Holy shit, can I live in that timeline, please?!? Pretty please?
Are you talking about the same team that then refused to accept their own results and are still trying to prove the world is flat?
