True. We all know the Hippocratic oath. Do no harm (unless it inconveniences a flight of passengers).
I remember an attendant once said "And to those who said they’d ‘never fly with us again’: Welcome back! " 😂😂😂

3·1 month agoThey’re doing worst than slop songs. From images I’ve seen, she’s DEEP into Kansas City Chief fans. 😂 🤣 😂
Her reaction makes sense. Best I can hope for is some trickle down civil rights.
My fucking sides. Thank you for this. That Gen X shit is absurd.

11·2 months agoI’d love to play AAA games- Crimson Desert and Spider-Man 2 are on my wishlist. But now that they’ve been optimized for frame generation, my 3070 can’t play them to my standard.
If I’m going to stare at a pixelated mess, I’d rather it be curated by an indie artist than technical difficulties from DLSS compression

Steam@lemmy.ml•72% of devs believe Steam has a monopoly on PC games, according to study
123·7 months agoIn this one case, I’m okay with its monopoly as long as Gabe is in charge. I have bought tens of thousands of dollars in games on the platform and it’s crazy I can still hit download on games over 20 years old in my library AND have my save game data imported from that time.
So far, Valve has been fair to their users. Hell, they heard concerns over gambling and just took a sledgehammer to the CS2 skin market. I don’t think any other company would devalue their digital assets to a tune of -3 BILLION dollars. Valve is the GOAT.
