I recently used it to update my resume with great success. But I also didn’t just blindly trust it.
Gave it my resume and then asked it to edit my resume to more closely align with a guide I found on Harvards website. Gave it the guide as well and it spit out a version of mine that much more closely resembled the provided guide.
Spent roughly 5 minutes editing the new version to correct for any problems it had and boom. Half an hour of worked parsed down to sub 10
I then had it use my new resume (I gave it a copy of the edited version) and asked it to write me a cover letter for a job (I provided the job description)
Boom. Cover letter. I spent about 10 minutes editing that piece. And then that new resume and cover letter lead to an interview and subsequent job offer.
AI is a tool not an all in one solution.
International English as the region also prevents tons of random crap to be auto installed
iMessage on android as in android users would have blue bubbles on someone’s iPhone?
If that’s the case then it’s relaying the messages through an iMac or Mac mini somewhere which would require signing into an Apple ID so some third party would have access to all of your chats 💀💀💀
Basically what nothing phone is doing now
More money when you run them.
More fun to join then tho
100 percent in agreement that apples ram pricing is lunacy
But my brother. Wtf do you need that much ram in a phone for lol. Mine has 6gb (12 pro lmao) and that causes me zero issues. Granted, I don’t game on my phone. But is phone gaming really eating that much ram these days?
And as the sole sysadmin of my family I am going to prioritize keeping them in familiar environments to reduce my ticket load as I don’t have a tier 1 group to handle them.
The Ally atleast has more performance than the Deck. Deck has it beat in software though.
Really?
ToTK ram so poorly on my (launch) switch that I stopped after a few hours. Constant usually massive dips in frame rate put me off of it.
Returned my switch to a MarioKart/Smash machine for when my friends are over.
LTT is neat when they’re doing silly projects. Gamers Nexus is for actual hard data and testing
Hmmm. Disappointing.
They’ve seemed rather committed to replaceable parts. I think they’ll keep supporting it. Guess I’ll have to keep hoping a third party higher refresh rate screen comes out sometime. Im sure higher capacity batteries will eventually too
Wonder if they’ll release the OLED screen as it’s own part so previous owners can upgrade themselves.
I’ve no interest in the third party 1200p screen since I don’t need the hardware to struggle even more more resolution but a 90hz refresh rate would be great
(I’m EXTREMELY green with Linux)
Could it be run inside of a windows VM?
Windows 10 LTSC for the win
Alright so I was definitely overthinking it. I’m gonna set it up tonight on the SFF PC.
I can get several terabytes of storage on it. If I end up making heavy use of this I can migrate the library to a NAS using the Thinkserver afterwards
Thanks!
Seems from some rudimentary googling here that I may have drastically overestimated the hardware requirements for 2 or 3 4k streams. Seems the UHD 630 may be the move so I can save on power
I’m a PC gaming enthusiast and work in IT support so I’m very comfortable working on PC’s etc but just have never gotten into media encoding/decoding so I really am unfamiliar with the capabilities of UHD 630 and if it can handle the load
Using the external HDD mounts I could give it several terabytes of storage (though many more on the TD340 of course)
while that’s totally valid of course that kind of has nothing to do with iPads and their stylus’ does it? Lol
But Wacom makes some great stuff. I have a buddy who uses a Wacom tablet for digital art. He uses windows. Any Linux quirks or does Wacom “just work” with Linux installs?
And the fact that they have silicon space dedicated to accelerating that translation layer specifically.
Good software and good hardware married to make a kickass move to ARM.
Don’t think Bing has been good for that for some years no?
