I guess I’m going to self host. Better that than having to create yet another account on yet another instance just because it got defederated

My bad, arch-based distros.
Ubuntu Cinnamon is what’d I recommend more if you’re starting out and want to play video games. Lutris dropped support for Linux Mint because both parties were a bit too stubborn on making the appropriate changes that would work for everyone (iirc, LM packaged drivers differently and Lutris wanted it a bit more standard to work efficiently. And immovable object had met an unstoppable force)
Fedora with AUR would be ideal for me. I’ve had too many random issues running Ubuntu and ubuntu-based OSs and while I like the simplicity of Debian, its too… little? for what I’m looking for. Arch and arch-based works great, but most are KDE and I would need to make a lot of changes out of the box before I can start using it (the default pdf viewer for KDE is nicer that Evince (the pdf viewer packaged with most gnome DEs) but I can’t print off some pages in e-books whereas Evince allows that)
Fedora server be Ballin tho
Rich men North of Richmond
Shower for watering plants, jet for cleaning, no nozzle if I’m going to be letting the water run across the irrigation I’ve set up for the trees
I hate cities because of the amount of idiots driving there. If it were harder to get a driver’s license then I wouldn’t mind at all
I do like those unlock buttons on the door handles when your keys are nearby though… When they work anyways.
My Dad has an '08 Toyota Prius that was gifted to him recently. He loves being able to just unlock the door by grabbing the handle. I tried it out for about a week when he was still getting the tags for it and also enjoyed it.
My '10 Ford Ranger is a fleet truck, so simplified its an XL with zero options. The only “upgrade” might’ve been the seats, vinyl instead of cloth. No electronic locks, no alarm, no electronic windows.
We use whatsapp at work because a majority of people have iPhones, not an issue but group chats with Android users (half of the department I’m working for, myself included) cause issues with the actual texts.
From what I’ve looked into, simplified, Apple is at fault for not properly implementing cross-compatible version of imessage. (Iirc, it’s RTC but can’t quite remember all at the moment)
Same reason I’m still driving an older truck. While I’ve been wanting to upgrade to a new truck, I don’t want to deal with the computer controlling every aspect of the vehicle (breaks, accelerator, lights, etc.) As it is now, if I want to turn my headlights on, a relay controls it. Same with the turn signal, radio, A/C, and the list goes on
Been just using TeamSpeak with a free license for friends. 32 slots with little overhead on a linode from Dallas I’m already paying for.
They just need screenshare capabilities to move over 100% of my friends
I’d say it’s one of the best consoles (if you want to call it a console) in relation to emulation. If you have very obviously legal copies of your console games they run incredibly well on the steam deck. Installed yuzu and configured it and got SSBU working 90%, multiplayer (even local) doesn’t work, at least the last time I tried it
Battery isn’t the best so it seems like it’s made more for steam link instead of natively running the game but my internet isn’t good enough so I tend to play on the couch tethered to a charge cable
So that’s how he lost his ear 😅😄
My mom: “because you’re always on that damn phone!”
I have coworkers that were in the last few years of high school when covid broke out. They spent all day playing video games or watching Netflix and when it came time to graduate, well… there wasn’t a ceremony or anything. They just got their diploma in the mail.
Not saying covid is the absolute reasoning for it, but it did play a huge part in our youth having a hard time reading and writing
