Why didn’t the ACLU defend Ross Ulbricht? What about all the whistleblowers that have been imprisoned lately? Seems like there are better candidates than this guy.

We are locked into the big heavy vehicle paradigm. People have become so accustomed to moving around in a 2t vehicle they have forgotten about the alternatives. Lithium batteries are not a good fit for this type of vehicle and most of the time the use case is single occupant, where the bicycle is king of efficiency.
Please accept my sincere condolences, I’m sorry for your loss.
I went down the psychology rabbit hole and emerged with autism.
Windows has become the Facebook of operating systems. Now watch this drive.
I’ve noticed the same thing from Indian colleagues. They rarely outwardly disagree and it’s very confusing to work that way. I don’t want a tiered workplace where some people are more equal than others. Let’s just speak plainly and politely, treat each other with respect, no matter where we’re from and what we look like.
I feel like the British colonial influence has been horrible for India and Africa in general.

Sadly, you are speaking for a great many places. I’ve cycled in most of the countries I’ve visited and it can be relatively dangerous.
If people want to see how to integrate a public transport network with a cycle path network, places like Netherlands and Denmark are leading the way.
Over here in the UK we have one of the most regressive attitudes to sustainable transport in Europe. Our trains don’t work and cycling is barely tolerated.
Come back OG Jesus, all is forgiven.
In the UK if you need an anti depressant, they will be prescribed after a ten minute conversation. On the other hand if you want to treat the underlying condition that is causing the depression you have a very steep hill to climb. For example, it is estimated that around 30% of male prisoners have ADHD. Lately I have stopped thinking of the UK as an ethical society.
It’s usually cost. They have tooling to produce components that have probably been around decades. The cost of retooling just to change the fastener sizes may not be economically viable. Eventually these legacy components will be phased out and it will be 100% metric.
How else could it work? Otherwise it will detect the water flowing and never switch off.
This only true when you drop it like it’s hot.

Libgen and Scihub exist for this exact reason. How is it we’ve arrived at a situation where capitalists are deciding how knowledge is propagated?
As soon as some technology becomes so accessible that anyone can use it, the platform becomes populated by morons and it’s essence is diluted by all sorts of rules put in place so the morons can’t damage each other.
I suspected Debian users were soyboys and now I have the documents to prove it.
Is data storage a car for guys with micropenis?
We have to call their bluff from time to time and remind the management that without us, none of their shit works. When we down tools its not like they can pick them up and get the show back on the road.
