There’s also emulation station for Android now, as well! On top of retroarch, it makes for a great experience
Cigarette butts really anger me. It’s a sign of entitlement that I hate. The person knows it’s smelly and disgusting, so they get it as far away from their person or car without a second thought.
I can be judgemental about it because I smoked for over 20 years. I kept a ziplock bag on me (kind of like you would for dog poop when walking your dog) and would keep em in there until I could find a trash can. The ashtray in my car was also used instead of throwing them out the window.
Now that I’ve quit the habit, I notice it even more. It’s awful. My father and mother in law throw their butts on our lawn literally every time they come over, even though they are fully aware that we don’t smoke. When I put a coffee can on the front porch and let them know that’s where they should throw them, they looked at ME like I was the rude one.
Judge em hard. Cigarette smokers have very little space for other people in their world.
I’ve been on it for about a month. All the people I followed on Instagram (that have downloaded threads) automatically were added to my follows. Lots of Sci Fi and movie discussion
Politics, too.
My experience has actually been pretty good. It’s like Twitter but with a lot more leftists stuff
No it doesn’t. Didn’t for me. I lived in a twenty year old Ford explorer for almost a year pursuing mine. Didn’t succeed or make it big, but I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Not every dream relies on college loans, dude. Not if you’re an artist.
I’d go so far as to say man, many dreams people have don’t require a degree.
And if they do? DO IT ANYWAY. I attended two years of college for film. Never got a career out of it. Still paying off my debt. Still don’t regret ANY of it.
Still getting by on the strings of my butt hairs in my 40s. Still wouldn’t take any of it back.
Never sucked the love for either dream out of it. Did I get depressed? Sure. Did I go through a lot of shit and a lot of disappointment? Definitely. I’m two years out from failing in my latest attempt at pursuing one of my many dreams. You couldn’t pay me all the money in the world to take it back.
You’re speaking to me… about me. About my experiences and telling me how it made me feel. Sorry my dude, I can’t agree with you.
Take those chances. The memories are worth it. The stories are worth it. The lessons you learn along the way are definitely worth it, homie
Counterpoint to all the young people: Never listen to ANYONE who tells you not to follow your passion.
It’s better to try, fail and learn than it is to grow old and wonder what could have been
Travel. Try new things. Eat food you’ve never tried before.
Get into the habit of reading. Actual books, not just things like lemmy.
Realize that literally every person you meet is a walking story, just like yourself
Brush your fuckin teeth.
Also: Floss. Seriously. Take care of your damn teeth. They’re important.
They have more uranium than we do
I tilt one way.
Then wash my hands.
So you stand up and let the shit spread further?
A glass of milk or sometimes a chai with milk will literally be my breakfast some days.
Milk rules.
It is when depression is a constant sparring partner in life
No, they’re Saltines.
Cracka.
Mitt Romney actually said the main reason everyone was on board for the ban was due to the sheer amount of Palestinian support on the app
You said it doesn’t effect the show after talking about how it effects the show.
Stealing is a very cool crime. Especially from Amazon.
You’re just a square.
Nerp.
Not worth my time. Sorry you hate reading.
I’m sorry you never heard of the Royal Proclamation of 1763. Google is your friend.
It wasn’t really the taxes, that was their excuse to get the masses to agree to a rebellion.
The main reason was land. They wanted to expand west to continue growing cotton and tobacco. Kentucky and Tennessee were ripe for cultivation, however, the British empire had made a proclamation in the 1760s saying the colonies were not allowed to expand further into native territory.
The taxes were a tactic to get the poor people to die for them, so they could get rich off of stealing more land for these crops that destroyed the soil they already had
Neckbeards are some of the best Dungeon Masters and I ain’t lying
Blatantly incorrect. They jumped on the sword to protect a legal precedent concerning emulation.
If the courts had ruled in favor of Nintendo, guess what? That means ALL emulators are on the chopping block. All of them. They knew.
Once you have case history to back you up, it becomes a domino effect.
This has absolutely nothing to do with cowardice.
