Alright, thanks. Bazzite doesn’t have great support for this?

I hope a future where Google is kicked out of Android but that won’t happen
Thanks, that looks really cool
You’re the best kind of linux users
with arch users because they’re cute nerds
then just dual boot
I believe it’s the best thing to do. Wasn’t there some problems with dual booting on mint? Something like updating windows wiping grub or similar?
sure
I’m always a bit worried that other distros could have things harder to set up or less stable, that’s why I want to go with mint
I guess the best comparison is that distros are like religions

- ask a random windows user to download drivers or codecs, they will sweat
- ask a random windows user to download Steam, they’ll manage to do it
They will assume the basics should be there by default. It’s sad but to have an actually usable computer you need some proprietary software bs
I made the worst fucking comparison
distros are like porn
There’s a general consensus, but everyone has their kinks and preferences that bring people near insanity
it’s not an easy switch then
We’re asking for an easy alternative
prettier than windows while having a similar interface
uhh…
more stable than windows
Not if you have multiple screens and want to zoom the interface or something. I remember there was a massive bug with this
basically the same level of software compatibility as windows
Except all Adobe software, video editing software, many windows only software, the full Office suite
So, no, that’s just false
What if you want productivity (everyday tasks) + game?
isn’t it only old people with families?

A combination of both (and I’d like a less intrusive clientside one) would be better
isn’t it an issue with flatpaks requiring some permissions that aren’t enabled by default?
You should try using Flatseal https://github.com/tchx84/Flatseal to check the permissions
