I’d look into Fresh if you want to really have the whole gui-style text editor experience inside a TUI application.

If you haven’t, I highly recommend checking out Fresh, it’s like micro with even more standard text editor features.
Micro or even better is Fresh. Make use of the modern terminal features for mouse interaction, text highlighting, and standard shortcuts.

6·1 day agoCause the verb is inflame and means to place a flame in on on something, as opposed to not flame. The problem being in both inflammable and the issue the OP of the image is the notion of re-bracketing. Rather than think of it as [inflame]able it gets converted into in[flammable] in the minds of new readers/listeners which flips the in- prefix meaning to not rather than in/on like it is supposed to be.

25·1 month agoThere is a game on Steam where you have to organize 3000 magic tomes. They made this same joke lmao.
That would require current models to actually be capable of continuous learning during inference in contrast to the current context window trickery they use now. Embodiment by itself won’t give these models souls because they are incapable of learning or holding an understanding of their world.

2·2 months agoPersonally, I find regulations to be a bandaid over a legitimate problem: shareholder misalignment. Really, companies should only ever be consumer and worker coöps since those are the direct stakeholders and the reason businesses exist in the first place. Shareholders aren’t needed and only serve as a form of parasitic wealth extraction that feeds capital accural, cartel formation, and monopolization.
