Well, when IQ was invented, it was assumed that well-adjusted people generally had higher IQs, and since there -are- people with incredably inhibited mental capability, and those people -are- considered neurodivergent by definition, it was assumed that high functioning neurodivergent people must also be “mentally deficient” if they can’t function properly in society, with some exceptions to savants who were recognized as being so highly capable in their field that it compensated for their “stupidity” in common matters. It’s also noteworthy that public understanding of mental health disorders pre-80’s boiled down to “r****d” and “schizo.”
Let’s take a page from Helldivers and call it “Managed Capitalism.” Surely far better than rootstock /s

That’s a smoke screen. Another is the “liberal brainwashing machine” school system scare. What they fear is the statistic that higher educated individuals trend towards populism and progressivism. They see higher education of youths as a threat to their political base, which turns into “spineless parents sending kids to liberul brainwashing camps funded by the gubmnt.”
The ghost of Reagan?
And you get to make one of those cute “Resolved; for record keeping” tickets to fill out your day :) This is why I actually give out my direct line. If anyone gets upset at not being able to reach me, I can just say tons of people have that same number and are trying to reach me, and I’m never bored from 8-5
Which this probably is if they want to pack as much data as possible in one unit.
Hey OP, that site has enough trackers on it to give me cancer. Can you link an alt from a more consumer friendly source?
Clippy never had a voice and tbh the one that comes to mind for him is not very easy on the ears. Like downpitched spongebob.
It’s guardians of the galaxy, my guy. It’s character quips spaced by mindless qte’s and hack/slash combat in linear, beautifully-designed environments. It’s got a story, and if you turn off your brain into “super hero movie” mode, you’ll enjoy it. Hardly unique or novel though. Prolly a fun romp.

I’ve wanted to do this for some time, but everyone tells me there’s no way to make it work without constantly updating the blacklist. Is it really such a hassle?
We have that one. It’s a tiny indie gem called No Man’s Sky, and, get this, there’s no cutscene when you leave the planet!
Yet language and abstraction are the core of intelligence. You cannot have intelligence without 2 way communication, and if anything, your brain contains exactly that dictionary you describe. Ask any verbal autistic person, and 90% of their conversations are scripted to a fault. However, there’s another component to intelligence that the Turing Test just scrapes against. I’m not philosophical enough to identify it, but it seems like the turing test is looking for lightning by listening for rumbling that might mean thunder.
I have had 0 issues with it and it’s only gotten better. I’m running a flat, stable 30 on high currently. That’s more than I can say of hogwarts…
Actually, that may not be a face of disgust. That cat is inducing the scent into their mucus ducts behind their 2 large top canines. They channel up into the nose, and unlike humans and dogs, cats are scentblind to anything airborn, and need to encorporate the chemicals into a fluid. It takes them a second of “mouth breathing” after smelling a thing to trigger the scent response in their brain. I had a cat that made the most disgusted face whenever we gave her wet food, but then she always burried her snout straight to the bottom of the tin.
Me hearing a whisper in the wind through my kitchen window: “You’re letting all of the bought air ouuuuutttt…”
