This happend to me just yesterday. I pulled up a terminal with python to use it as a basic calculator (don’t judging, I was just adding numbers) and my class mate looks over and thinks I’m some kind of hacker for that

Possibly my dingy. It’s a eighties fibreglass boat. I’d feel super comfortable swapping any part of the rig and doing light repairs on sail or hul. Although, if the mast broke or the hull was badly damaged I would probably have to let it go ):
Also, on the topic of boats. That one isn’t my boat, but I somewhat frequently sail a stjärnbåt, a type of smaller wooden boat. There we have a real ship of Theseus situation, I think there’s no part of that boat we couldn’t repair.
I’m confused. Those all look equally hard to me
(Also, I was born in 2009)
Why not though? Just because it sounds rude or something?
I only studied french for a short time, but I feel like that really doesn’t work for french:
- chemisier, blouse, is masculine
- ceinture, belt, is feminine
Those were the two onces I could remember like this half a year after ending my french studies, but could be that those are only two uncommon counterexamples.
Also, both of these are what you would “expect” in German (die Bluse, der Gürtel)
Encouraging. I would love to try doing it sometime, but I realise I’m probably really gonna screw up
I see no problem. That’s the front window

1·26 days agoThanks! I guess that that’s important, even though math in particular isn’t a problem for me as I (at least so far) enjoy it. But there sure are other things I’d like not to do (:

9·29 days agoI’m 16 and currently in my first year in “gymnasiet” (were you in Sweden study for three years, beginning at 16) studying natural sciences. I’m in three years probably going to go to highschool or university, but I have really no idea what I want to do.
Ofc I want descent chances to actually get a job afterwards, and I really would want to do something that’s at least partially practical. Although, I do enjoy studying and ended primary school last year with more or less top grades (335/340 meritpoäng), so I’m probably gonna keep in studying for quite a few years, as I’m in a position to do so.
But more or less, I feel like anything can happen during the next few years, given the state of the world and the development of AI. Given that, I haven’t thought that much of any career in particular. And I don’t really have to decide until spring 2028, so I’ll have to see where we’re at then
Yes, and you can use Consent-0-Matic to fill then out automatically (and reject cookies). Works on at least most of the annoying ones
And no one from Sweden is going to acknowledge the difference, here Holland = Netherlands
Do you have any more context? Seems interesting
