Well, i have the 5290 laptop (not the tablet)(i5-8350u) for a year now. It’s great, practically pocketable, upgradable everything except the cpu (obivously), decent materials, a decent keyboard, etc. But the display is terrible.

Well, gnome exists.

Well, this was probably also anticipated with win 8 and 10, but it (sadly) didn’t happen.

There’s still win 10 ltsc iot, but I doubt it can be used in a buisness setting.

Well, we don’t have bedrock and don’t even think about mcpelauncher (it’s not even foss anymore + licensing bullshit).

Well, the only use of this, for most people, would probably be minecraft.

We in Slovenia have lunch in school for 3€, it used to be 2 a couple of years ago.

It isn’t an intelligence, it’s just repeating patterns (the behaviorism theory of psychology has already been disproven (if I’m not mistaken). This just shows, people percieve anything capable of speech intelligent (like parrots, bit not crows which are scientifically proven to be intelligent). I’m sure some of my fellow autistics could chime in and tell how we’re percieved (spoiler alert, not great).

Latitude 5290 has the same CPU and upgradability of a t480, but no trackpoint. Build quality is great (from my experience) and it’s under 200€ used.

Or use a mi pad 5 with linux for coding on the device. The geekbench score is comparable to a thinkpad t480. (this)
