Indeed, a LLM can certainly spout bullshit on social media.
I see it just as positive vibes. It’s someone throwing a bottle in the ocean hoping it will reach someone who might the message inside it.
I can totally understand the other way around though, it can feel invalidating like behing told that sleeping 8 hours, meditating 15 minutes per day and eating well will solve every single of your problems when you have to deal with a crippling condition every single day of your life. It can be infuriating.
I try to focus on the non-verbal narrative and tell myself that it’s just a person sending positive vibes in their own way.
I backup everything I like and not just porn. It could become a lost media someday. There are so many things I wish I could find from the napster/kazaa era, but for most of them I sadly had to give up.

Eh, I’m probably gonna ditch that smartphone thing anyways, at least for a while. Android becoming a closed-off garden was the last straw and I was kinda looking forward trying to go without a phone to test if I can adapt. I started leaving the house without my phone more and more and I kinda like it.
Sure, it’s fun and convenient to have the Internet in my pocket. Heck, it’s even required in some cases, but this digital mess we are currently in is too much for me. I remember how I was looking forward having one back then; I was really looking forward having acces to the Interney wherever I was, but nowadays I kinda miss being less conected from all the bullshit especially when outside.
I guess I could get a linuxphone one day if I miss having a phone (if I somehow manage to completely remove the smartphone from my life in the first place).

I feel like I could… like I could… like I could… TAKE ON THE WORLD!!
I knew someone who claimed that light therapy helped. I don’t know much about it, in your case it might be worth a short. Some people talked about melatonin, but I don’t think it helps that much if at all (but that’s just based my own experience).
In any cases, I hope this winter won’t be too hard on you this year.
I have a summer seasonal affective disorder. I know it’s a bit controversial diagnosis, but I absolutely have a terrible time during summer. It’s so bad I start to be increasingly anxious about summer by the end of February because I know it’s slowly approaching.
I find daylight to be pleasant like everybody, but after a very short time I start to feel drained as if it was too much. I like cloudy days or when it rains. During summer, I basically don’t sleep. Even when the heat is not an issue I just can’t sleep.
Lately I’ve been smiling and laughing more and more; I feel much more at peace. It’s always strange to finally feel energized and genuinely happy when most people around me feel the complete opposite.

People trying to shame us encouraging people switching to a OS that respects our privacy from the shit show Microsoft has become makes me roll my eyes every single time.
We pass so much of our time in front of a screen. Why not do it while retaining our freedom as much as we can? Sure, if you must use it for work, it is what it is, but Linux is definitely something worth learning using no matter what your technical level is.
If you can navigate through Windows with some degree of confidence, you absolutely can use Linux effectively. You can go full GUI no problem if you want to.
Linux is so easy nowaday. Yeah, some niche things might require some digging around, but that’s nothing compared to the bullshit you have to accept from Microsoft.
If it’s not for work, I’m sorry but use Linux or stop bitching. The correct answer will always be don’t use the trojan OS.

In my opinion, it’s not as bad as people claim it to be, but It’s far from being great as well.
I think it was easier to watch when it came out, but from memory I enjoyed it. I remember thinking the show was kinda accurate regarding nerdy references (compared to other movies and series of the time) and I thought it was cool.

People bought that overpriced crap with unnacceptable TOS? I guess I need to accept there is no hope after all.

Yeah, that is fair. I personally don’t know much about VR so I wound’t know.
I admit it might be a a bit more complicated when it comes to make VR or things like a racing wheel work without having to dig around.

Dude, you need to chill. Why not take a break and unclench you jaw and fists for a while?
This conversation doesn’t deserve this level of blood pressure.

I never had a single issue so far. Actually, performamce is better on Linux every single time for me. I finally got rid of Windows since I have zero use for it. The only problem could be games with anti cheats.
I’m always surprised when I hear people claiming they work in IT and find Linux to be complicated. I just installed Fedora on two of my friends’ machines. Both are cluless about computers and they are doing perfectly fine. Now for basic tasks including gaming, a granny could use it without much issues if any.
When was the last time you tried Linux? If it has been a while, you might be surprised how it has changed recently. Proton made everything so much easier.
I’m not a technical person by the way; just a normal dude who uses Linux now.
