Try some Yoga. It can be a decent workout and will definitely help with posture, soreness and flexibility if you stick with it. Check out some beginner yoga routines on YouTube to see if it’s something you would be into.
I read Jeff Tweedy’s book on songwriting and he talked about borrowing themes from anything and every thing. Like that chord progression? Use it. Interesting cadence or rhythm? Borrow it. It’s not really copying, but more so taking inspiration from other works. It’s always good to keep your ears open to try to find things in the world that resonate with you. I often sit in my back yard and listen to the birds sing and imagine what a bird song would sound like applied to something on guitar or lyrical cadence.
I can’t say I have any peers that say music use to be better. I hardly find music to be stagnant now, hell a lot of the recent pop music has had some things that have resonated with me and I’m a dude in my 30s. The thing is you can’t let yourself stagnate. I am a music lover who is always looking for something new and different. With the internet and recording being so accessible there are more artists being able to put their work out there than ever. Even then, I am still going back to music of my youth and still enjoying most of it. My parent’s music was never went away- I’m digging even deeper into their record crates and finding the stuff they weren’t quite fond of and finding a lot of things I enjoy. Open your ears, the birds are singing and bells are ringing. You just have to go to the woods or the town square to hear them some times.
I bought a pack of thumb picks out of curiosity and I actually really like them. I don’t use them every time I play but they’re nice to have.
Here’s my take: most countries outside of the US are lacking when it comes to condiments and sauces. It’s your food, dress it how you wish. One of my recent favorites for pizza is Bachan’s Original Japanese Bbq sauce

The only podcast I listen to is the only podcast that has ever existed and it’s called ‘All Fantasy Everything.’ Everything else other users have posted is actually All Fantasy Everything in disguise behind a Joker mask hiding deep in the jungles of Bolivia. Pretty twisted.
There’s a Pillars of the Earth series?! I read the book last year and loved it.
Poison garden at Alnwick Castle?
Same here! It’s fun to make noise though
My first car was a 1995 Hyundai Accent my dad bought from a friend for $800. The best thing about it was it was purple. People at work and school knew it was me because I was the only person with a little purple car.
The most annoying thing about owning that car was that the door handles would freeze during the Chicagoland winter. I’d go out to warm it up before school and ever so gently try to open the door. If I tugged too hard on it, the thin piece of plastic connecting the handle to the metal bar and latch mechanism would break. I changed driver and passenger side handles maybe 7 times while having that car. For a short time I was waiting on replacement door handles for both sides to arrive and I had to crawl in through the hatchback to get into the car. Good times
I’ve been into making adult lunchables. I’ll have some deli meat with crackers and cheese slices, mixed nuts, fruit and hummus. It’s easy to prep, cheap and fun.

Left 4 dead 1&2, Halo 1-3 + Reach. Man I miss co op games with friends on split screen. Do modern games even have split screen options outside of Nintendo titles?
