This remake is trying to replace the original. Yes, you can buy literally the worst version of the original with the HD ports, or you can pirate the game or buy used copies for prices that I would call theft, but Konami and Bloober are purporting that the remake, for all intents and purposes, is designed to replace the original.
Right. For a lot of people, it will be their first time playing Silent Hill 2. The remake will be what they think of the game. There’s so much riding on this. SH2 is a cult classic and to be honest, I think it will be impossible to meet expectations.
Crossplay confirmed!

Can’t help but wonder if any dogs were actually thrown off the bridge by some sick person. Especially as the bridge gets more well known.
The idea of dogs staring at something unseen and then suddenly suiciding is freaky though. I could definitely see this being incorporated somehow into a horror story.
Got a new electric drum kit and dusted off the ol’ Rock Band 4. xD
Hey thanks for the video! That was super entertaining and informative. Gonna subscribe and watch more.
I just straight up stay away from management lol. Work the night shift.
I have the Shokz OpenRun Pro. Well worth the money, no complaints. I wear them all the time at work (hazard issue to have in-ear earbuds). There’s a pause button on the side when I’m trying to give somebody my full attention, or I’ll just take them off and wear it around my neck. Lasts through a 16 hr shift.
This is so wholesome☺️
What a bird. Thank you for your service, Cher Ami!
I don’t do turkey and cranberry sauce, porkchop with applesauce, paté with jam/chutneys… something about meat and fruit sauce. Well but I don’t like chicken and waffles either. Oh, and bacon donuts!
How bout something like onion jam and cheese?
I said the same about fruity beers, sours, lambics, (also found white wines too acidic) and now I like them lol. Sometimes taste changes when you get older.
Yeah I don’t really relate to the complaint because why does all your fun have to come from a single website? Does your online content have to be a one-stop shop? I just hop around Lemmy, Tildes, read sports news, maybe watch some cool videos on Youtube, etc etc. And when I’m bored with internet, I have other stuff IRL to do. Yeah I’m just not treating Lemmy like an endless scroll feed like Reddit or Instagram. I just check out what’s new (I might pop in a few times a day), participate if I want, and move on.
Right? Personally, I want people who come here to care. Not the masses.
I love people’s attempts to describe it in the comments section
Wtf there’s a new one!!!
This is generally my belief. There is no dichotomy. Life is full of gray areas. Also what is morally virtuous or superior to you may not be the case for others. Take religious differences, for example.
