I had this conversation about privacy a week ago with a colleague. Not sure if it matters but she’s 21. She’s addicted to TikTok and was wondering why I did not use it.

I told her, I don’t trust the makers of it and don’t trust the country the app comes from (China, CCP). I half explained it was because of privacy issues. She looked me dead in the eyes and said “I don’t have anything to hide”.

So I simply said something along lines of;

“of course you don’t. The messages you sent to your boyfriend are not of intimacy things right? Certain pictures you send. Political conversations, your behavior patterns, religion. None of that matters right? Until it can be all used against you. If you care enough, I recommend to just research a couple of things up. Like for example Facebooks Cambridge scandal and Meta’s meddling with politics. Now imagine that from your own government”.

But of course, she shrugged it off and said she did not care.

Mainly for iPhone/ IOS but if it is possible to have it synch with Windows (PC) that would be a major advantage.

Holy shit the hate E33 is getting is completely ridiculous, as Reddit does. Whether you go to the Silksong, KCD2, Death Stranding, Dispatch, Arc Raiders, or any other games subreddit that was nominated for any award about half the comments saying E33 is trash, overhyped, and their game deserved to win instead.

This is why I don’t care anymore about what other people think and don’t check the communities of games. I just hope the game, I like the most wins. If it happens, great! If it does not, sad but that’s okay. That’s life.

Because it is the internet and nowadays people only think about themselves. “I like this game, I want and need this game to win”. The internet allows people to be sort of anonymous and that brings the worst out of people (because more often than not, there’s no consequences of the actions when it is written anonymously).

Nazi-Germany which was and is a far-right party definitely claimed they are special. Remember the whole thing about “Aryan” race and how the others are inferior while the Aryan suppose to be superior.

Likud party from Israel which is far-right are claiming they are the superior too and that others suppose to be inferior.

AFD from Germany which leans to Nazism also claim they are the superior.

White supremacy which usually is within the far-right parties very often (if not always) lean to being “superior” over the others.

I have been trying to understand what makes people lean so much into the right wing but, I don’t really get it.

For example the hot topic of immigrants, the right wing is blaming it all on them. However, not every problem is because of immigrants and neither will these problems suddenly be solved when the people are out of said country.

The entire thing against LGBTQ and/ or people of color does not make sense either. Pushing minority groups away just brings more hatred and will lead to violence. Eventually it will even lead to their own misery once they do not fit their “ideal person”.

Same thing regards other religion than their own, it’ll lead to more hatred, violence and eventually their own misery once they do not fit their ideal kind of religion person.

Not only that but history has shown what political far-right does and from what I have read, it is nothing really good. I mean just look to 1930-1945 Germany and Italy with Mussolini.

Anyway, my main intention was to get the Switch 2 so she could play Tears of the kingdom + Mario and Yoshi games that she likes.

Oh yeah, I know hah. But considering the instance I’m on, you can, I assume already know how I obtain most of the games.

But if you’re using EmuDeck, if you install it for her, it’s pretty simple after that - all the games just show up as games in Steam Library.

Yeah, I use EmuDeck on my own Deck but there are some hiccups when it comes to using the emulators thru Gaming Mode (bit of laggy, sometimes the games won’t start). Usually start the games through Desktop Mode. Did not manage to get the game to show up on the Steam Library, for some reason I just could not get that to work and due not enough time (work…) got a bit lazy and thought ‘never mind’ lol.
