what “bad guys”? Whatever the server owner feels is appropriate for levels of validation is up to them. ya know?
on quite a number of servers that are 18+, higher verification usually sounds a little bit more safe. But then on most of the servers I run or moderate, we tend to have our own in-house verification methods instead of the built levels for discord.
the idea of the verification levels is attractive, however. anything to keep the kids out. though I’m not sure I’d go as far as requiring a phone number, I might consider it for future.
it depends on how the server is going to be used. why a gaming server should be highest level, I don’t know. I would think “high” is enough.
in my experience, you can get pretty smooth gameplay at the cost of graphics, or pretty decent graphics at the cost of smoothness and fps.
I have mine set to pretty ok-ish settings for both. but then I tend to swap between handheld and docked for most games. so I’m kinda used to the graphics by now.

why not try and embrace it? this isn’t the only run you will ever do. it might be interesting to see what you might do with the choices you’ve made.

it’s really just to save me the hassle of having to remember the next day. like “… wait who was this for?” and having to try and figure out who I’d decided to give it to the night before.
grab all the pouches! I probably have tons in my camp chest right now just waiting to be used. lol
small pouches are also a handy way of packing explosives into one small concentrated area 😉
I pick up every tiny pouch I see because they don’t take up space and they force me to not bring the entire kitchen sink with me everywhere. to make space for important drops or other things.
You can do like one for pots, one for explosives and arrows, etc.
I also take it a step further and use a goody bag system when it comes to gear for members I’m not using right now, but I will later. I store all their upgraded gear in a pouch along with anything else I think they might need.
If I’m taking someone out and it’s been a while, I have them go grab their little goody bag 😊 then they got everything all neat and organized and ready to go.
it saves me going “wait… were these for Gale? or Wyll. I can’t remember…” pain in the ass. Just make a little goody bag for them. Then you can organize now and save future you a headache!

oh I understand yeah. certainly. but surely it’s not difficult to explain it to most users.
them understanding or caring about the issue is another problem. brand loyalty is a thing. but then there’s users for whom brand loyalty isn’t really a choice, it’s just what they’re used to or they’re not skilled enough to understand what the difference is.
i feel that’s a much stronger problem here. that particular subset of people don’t understand the device they are using. they’re basically angry because the green people in their messages don’t look right or don’t load right. that makes it “bad” if you don’t understand why.
basic understanding of the technology you carry in your pocket is lacking for a huge user base. but apple… kind of relies on people not understanding. it makes it easier for apple to go “Green text bad! hate people with that!” and still keep it’s users that might not understand in the dark.
