What’s the problem with the port? It’s considerably less prone to accumulate debris in my experience.
USB C cables are more fragile, but it’s designed that way so the ports are more durable. And I think having more durable ports is the right call.
Nope, native GamePass does not work on Linux. Not with Proton, not with Lutris. The only option is GP streaming using MS Edge.

To be honest, the biggest takeaway of the trailer is how well the original HL2 aged.
The new engine is finally out for PC, nice. That means better performance in endgame maps.
I symlinked the game folders from a NTFS drive to steamapps/common/ on my ext4 drive, and it works fine. Of course the compatdata and shader caches are on the ext4 drive.
You plug it into a dock with a good monitor, keyboard and mouse, and you have a decent desktop experience going.

That parity thing was debunked 2 years ago when a similar lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, their parity thing is for resold Steam keys, which Valve issues with no profit margin. Milberg London are trolls that tried to do the same lawsuit against Sony and PlayStation last year. Also got nowhere.
