Probably because most Americans can’t speak any other language… because our education system is awful… because those in power prefer a stupid populace because they’re easier to control.

I bought an X-Fi card just for that game.
And of course there was a short period of time where a sound card wasn’t required, but would actually improve performance by offloading audio processing to your sound card if you had one. And onboard audio at that time wasn’t great anyways.
Honestly? Not sure. More afraid of missing out than anything else.
My biggest issue is that I don’t know enough about the things I want to know more about, meaning I can’t find work in fields I’m interested in and don’t have time or money to get a higher education.
No, but I (kinda) get it.
I have been told, on multiple occasions, that I have a strong sense of justice. Somehow I doubt that’s a good thing, as all it’s done is get me in trouble.
Also have been told that I have a voice for radio. I was born about twenty years too late for that to be relevant, I always reply. “Start a podcast!” they say. I tell them I tried and it failed because I can read from a script great, but I have zero ability to be witty.
At least there are ways to block those ads. Sponsorblock is a godsend as well.
Depends. I default to being friendly, but I’m not good at it. I’m a terrible conversationalist, and what is logical to me (from my perspective) often gets misconstrued as being an asshole. It’s never my intention, but I’m awful at reading people too. I just never really took the time to learn how to… people.
DOS. Not sure what version, I was far too young to care. But not so young I couldn’t learn how to operate a command line interface!
Hi, are you me?
Melt it down and turn it into something that can be used for good, not to harm.
I play music at home, sometimes recording it. I have zero interest in monetizing it. The most I’d like to do is collaborate and make music with others.
I also ran a YouTube channel for a few years. Made about twenty cents from that.
…and are being replaced with handhelds like the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go, among others.
I liked ‘em both.
Valhalla is oozing with personality. It’s freakin’ huge, beating out the amount of content in Odyssey. It’s not all great content, but it isn’t terrible. Even the DLC is huge.
Sort of. I have a desktop that I use for games, and a handheld PC (the Lenovo Legion Go) for… games, and a phone that I use for lurking on the fediverse.
I work 8:00 to 4:30 with a half-hour lunch break. Frequently I’ll put in a few extra hours in a week for some overtime ‘cause the job isn’t hard at all.
It depends. I’m rather selfish with my time, but that’s about it. I’m the kind of person that believes everyone should be treated equally, especially considering each person’s situation. Everyone deserves a fair shot, and everyone deserves compassion and understanding.
