I think that the stage of life you’re in would also play a huge part in what hours you’d prefer. When I was single, I’d prefer later hours like you so I could have a more relaxed morning. Now that I’m married with kids, however, an earlier schedule would mean more family time. Especially as school events are often scheduled for the early evening.
I met my best friend when we were in our late 20s. We were assigned as roommates while teaching English in Thailand. I’m more introverted and she’s more extroverted, so our early friendship was her finding fun things to do and me tagging along. We have different outlooks at times, but similar values, which is good because we can help balance each other out.
As for what has made our friendship so strong, it’s largely because of rough times we’ve gone through together. We’ve been there for each other in good times, bad times, and really awful times. She is family. Fortunately, our daughters are also best friends now! And our husbands get along okay, too.
40F from the West coast, USA and the first car I bought was a manual Toyota Camry. Man, I loved that car. Up until I got T-boned by a Bronco. All of my cars afterwards were automatic for convenience and safety, but I miss my little manual car. It had great gas mileage.
I was in high school, and I remember babysitting my brother’s kids for new years. I’d invited a friend to hang out with me while I watched them, but her parents were very freaked out about Y2K and insisted she stay home with them. They did do some prepping on water and canned goods, but not quite to the “bunker under their floorboards” level. As for me and my family, we carried on as if life would continue as normal, and thanks to countless people working tirelessly, it did just that.

I like casual gaming videos, and often watch Mr. A Game and QuinBoBin, particularly their Zelda videos.
I also enjoy a good analysis, so Cinema Therapy is my go-to.
I have young children in the house, so it can be hard to find entertaining videos that don’t have bad language that I don’t want parroted back to me.
I’m a stay at home mom and a former teacher. My husband does IT, which means I do even less tech stuff than when I was single because I always just call him. I really like Lemmy. I was a casual Redditor and never used any third party apps, but after coming here to check it out, I’m now planning to stay.

Last night, we had a huge thunderstorm. It was the kind that shakes the windows and knocks out the power for a bit. My poor pup hid in the bathroom, shivering in the dark. He was very happy when the storm passed.
My husband makes the best ramen, with pork, fried eggs, green onions, oils and sauces, etc. I’m never too full to say no if he offers to make some for me too.
I know I’ve spent too much time in Asia when I see nothing wrong with the picture and needed to go to the comments to find out why. I still don’t get it.
The last time I used Airbnb, we rented 2 rooms in a guy’s house for a few days. At first, the guy seemed okay, only a minor reminder about leaving dishes out. I left a fairly positive review, but when it came time for his review of us he implied we were racist for not keeping eye contact and conversation with his roommate. I never saw the roommate, and my husband is the kind of introvert who doesn’t initiate conversations, especially when alone. It was ridiculous. We were also told that we had access to the rooms, bathroom, and kitchen and not to go into any other part of the house.
I’ll stick with hotels.

That’s why I love the times when you can feel the weight of his character in rare episodes where he isn’t treated as comic relief. They introduce us to the hidden depth of his character in the pilot episode when he solemnly puts on his warpaint, knowing he’s likely not going to survive. He is immediately dispatched in hilarious fashion, of course, but he didn’t hesitate to sacrifice himself for his tribe.

Driving slow is fine, as long as you aren’t in the left lane on the highway. That should be kept clear as a passing lane. I have definitely become a slower and safer driver as I’ve gotten older. I’ve also learned that budgeting an extra 15 minutes or so to get someplace gets me there with time to spare so I’m not as stressed while driving.

I was a towhead, which means I was born blonde and it turned to brown as I got older. When I first started noticing my hair turning darker, I asked my mom why and she told me it was because I ate too much peanut butter.
