They’re from “Morning Star Farms,” though I was careful to only say that they taste right, haha – They don’t plump up when cooked, and are prone to scorching in spots on the grill. But the flavor is spot on!

Same here. I tried out blackbean burgers, plant-based hot dogs, tofu and almond milk in my last couple of grocery runs, just to see what’s up. Turns out I really like tofu as a substitute for ground beef, and the veggie dogs tasted just like all beef franks to me. And none of these things were any more expensive than meat, so that’s also a big plus.
No rea$on at all, except for that one little rea$on that we alway$ $eem to keep coming back to…
It’s an ad for redballoon[dot]work, who describe themselves as “America’s #1 woke-free job board & talent connector.”
YouTube suggested this same video to me the other day and my partner and I were both completely distracted by the ad. Googling the first phrase I could pick out gave me plenty of results for other discussions. Almost feels like a PsyOp, lol.
Dunno if this helps you at all, but I’ve been using BitWarden to manage my passwords since I made the switch from Chrome to Firefox (both on PC and my Android phone). It doesn’t fill passwords automatically in either case, but it’s not much extra work to invoke BitWarden to fill those fields as-needed on either device, and it works very consistently. It’s also (I’m told) much more secure. Just thought I’d share that here!
I live real close to the house he lived in when he was a kid. There’s even a “Riders on the Storm Inn” here in town… 😌 I don’t know a lot about the man that he was and I’m too young to have seen The Doors play, though I really enjoy “People Are Strange,” and a few other songs of theirs. I’m glad he found a way out of this place, though, even if it was only for a short time.
I saw a lot of my own experience in your comment, and wanted to add a bit of my story. I work in web development, and years ago I was tasked with learning Google Ads so we could start offering it as a service to clients. So exciting at first, learning the ins and outs of such a powerful platform – But in practice, it was a cynical and dehumanizing experience. Dissecting thousands of real human beings’ search phrases for some untapped keyword, in an effort to cash in on their weakest moments. Not what I got into this field to do, either.
Indiana Jones and The Just-Okay Circle
This is exactly it for me. Everything else was really enjoyable – but then it just suddenly ends. There’s no freeplay after completing the main story. They went so far as to show a text warning, stating the game is about to end, and you have to confirm to proceed. After that, the only way back in is to load a previous save. I really wanted that unstructured exploration time, like you get after finishing the main story in Skyrim/Fallout/etc.
!Also, I think the “slideshow” style presentation for the ending contributed to this problem. A nice cinematic ending would have had way more weight and felt less tacked-on for me.!<
True, but meat-based hot dogs are typically fully cooked and so only need to be warmed, too… Grilling is just kind of a fun activity for me, and it adds a little snap and smoky flavor that you can’t get by boiling them. That said, grilled veggie dogs were a little different, but still pretty good!
