I actually enjoy it. Right after daylight saving time change, it’s dark around 5/6pm here. Christmas lights makes it more bearable.

I have had a pixel 5 and 6 and both died within 2 years. They would both hard crash and shut off for a bit and eventually stop powering up altogether. I never had that issue with other brands. I ended going back to samsung with an S23 and it works fine for now.
Same here!
BTW the Gaza strip holds 2 million palestinians, not just 200k.
Some places let you pump THEN pay inside. You could just fill and leave. Is that not basically the same thing? Thay can catch them the same way.
Date formats. Can never tell if dd/mm/yyyy, mm/dd/yyyy, yyyy-mm-dd…

Your ISP cannot read https data in transit. Extensions can because the page is now rendered on your local browser.
I don’t have time to make a full-on meme post but I can lend a couple of beans: 🫘🫘
A while back, Google trained an AI to learn to speak like a human, and it was making mouth noise and breathing. If AI is trained with human texts, it will 100% insert typos.
Crazy that an admin had full access to all files on all drives including backups without requiring any kind of elevation, where a ransomware could encrypt it all.
At this point 8 don’t even know if paying would be the way to go to at lease rexover the files and rethink their security from the ground-up.
It got shot down. Not sure why news say “crashed”…
Just flip it, the top bars are for measuring from the inside.
Because of the plant it used to be made of. It’ a Gui Mauve plant in french, or a Marsh Mallow in english. Scientific name: Althaea officinalis
Canada should run it’s own official mastodon or lemmy instance to post canadian news/communications and whatnot. I never undestood how we still depend on American corporations like Twitter and facebook to share news. Like, even for my local govt, if I want to know if there is any road works, water issues and so on, it ends up on facebook only! This is dumb.
Interesting! In Canada we have a carbon tax, which incentivize companies to pollute less, but does not help companies that are carbon-negative. I like the european way better; but as I stated, it requires governments to manage this, as these certificates are a fictous constraint anyway.
How would a company make money by dumping trees in holes?
It should be a government effort to do something like this. At least planting trees, no need to cut them for decades anyway. We would need an insane amount of tress for that to work too, basically as many as we burned as oil since the industrial era…
Dunk it in vinegar overnight. It will kill bacterias, and the smell of vinegar itself will go away pretty quickly.
