Copilot is pretty amazing for day to day coding, although I wonder if a junior dev might get led astray with some of its bad ideas, or too dependent on it in general.

You should give a git GUI a whirl. I like Fork. I definitely made do for years with the command line, but there were things like browsing all the diffed files between 2 commits that feel like inherently visual tasks to me, and the GUI makes that so much more natural.

Meta might already be secretly running any number of existing instances. For that matter, someone else you don’t trust definitely already is.
