I think it’s one of those things that you have to sit down and test out and really figure out. Tree style tabs are also good though. I definitely think it’s where sideberry got their inspiration

Agreed, and it seems like Firefox has recently made an effort to accommodate the extension more, as it seems to run even better than it used to and is now a recommended extension

The passport foldable is fucking awesome imo, Regular phone screen on the outside, 7ish inch tablet on the inside, super awesome as an e-reader, for productivity, etc. And if the inside screen breaks, you will have a usable outside one.

That being said, I Def thing the tech has a ways to go, the soft screens we have today are flawed. I’d really rather see two screens where they are edgeless when the hinge is flat. We have curved screens, just curve two screens and don’t use the part under the curve. Samsung was doing that for years to get edge to edge displays.

Never tried anything line that before but I feel like you’d be better off setting up VNC for it and connecting something lightweight to your TV and just interacting with the VM via VNC

Schools in the US were designed to prepare kids for factory jobs initially. A lot of the structure related to that has changed but the amount of time you spend at school hasn’t. Realistically you’d want a kid to spend less time at school. But schools are now used to prepare kids for working all day and then giving up their free time to their employer. That may be a little tin hat-ie, but it’s at least partially true. However as a kid a few extra hours at school wouldn’t have cut it for me. I preferred to do my work at home, I was also super distractible because I had adhd. Additionally as others have said that just wouldn’t be feasible for a lot of kids/families.

Modern frameworks make responsive design easier but yes it is still a lot to wrap your head around. I remember building my hs robotics team website in high school right as responsive design was becoming a thing. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO NEST A CONTAINER IN A CONTAINER I ALREADY HAVE ONE!!!”

Ugh yes, I have been talking about it ever since, I got an 8inch cheap Chinese tablet to use as an e reader and it’s ALMOST the same size (and almost the same specs lmao) the only reason I’m not used my nexus 7 is usb c on this on and I soft bricked it trying to put a lightweight OS on it 😢

I recommend the Asus Zenfone line, flagship processor for a reasonable price (relatively speaking) in a small form factor. It’s a godsend for someone like me with small hands. I’ve had mine for a year or so and I really love it! And I hear the Asus Zenphine 10 is even better.
