That, my friends, is why we kept fighting for firefox. It doesn’t matter if you like or dislike Mozilla foundation, they have to exist because of shit like this

LMAO, who would have thunk it? That was a very desperate attempt to make some sales. I noped it the second I learnt that they were using a mac mini somewhere to log people’s iclouds. That was the most pathetic thing I have seen in a while.
That’s called “doing the right thing”, and corporations don’t have that in their dictionary
I’ve disabled this by never using chrome. I haven’t used it in more than 6 years. Because fuck Google.
More people need to know about pixelfed. It is basically very much the old IG.
Hold on! I thought it was a web apponly? That’s awesome. I’ll download it
Android any time soon? Pretty please?
It works for me with zero issues on my MBP.
The theming engine isn’t complete. It needs a slider where I can darken a color to set it as a background when I’m using the dark theme. Let’s say I want to use red as the background color while on the dark theme, I can’t just use those bright reds. Even the darkest one listed is still too bright. There should be a slider that darkens that red closer to black so it can be dim enough to be a background color while on dark theme. Second issue is now the theme doesn’t reset at all. It looks like it’s broken or something. I have the theme set to auto to follow the system. The text doesn’t change when the theme switches from dark to light and vice versa. I always have to get in there and change the text manually. Otherwise, I’d end up with white text on a white background and a black text on a black background.
Another issue that is not related to theming is the notifications. Notifications bell doesn’t show unless I click on a post. Or sometimes it shows when I’m in settings. It rarely shows when I’m scrolling through the feed. It’s so weird and confusing honestly. Also, clicking on a notification doesn’t always clear it, I’d still have the red number on the bell until I go in manually and set all notifications to “read”. This is all I have so far. Not sure if y’all have a GitHub page or not (I looked and didn’t find any). I’d love to help with reporting some issues there to make this app better. I have 5 apps installed and now it’s a toss up between connect and voyager the web app. I use connect about 70% of the time, but I love love Voyager’s notifications implementation, that’s mostly why I use it. Their user profile set up is cool, too.
I really want to use one app for lemmy. I am so tired of using like 5 apps. Each one is missing something that the other has. Connect is getting there to be perfect. Still has major theming issues and notifications, too.
The American plague is coming for them. I hope it doesn’t and they don’t adopt our shitty habits of fucking our citizens hard.
Based on income would make more sense.
Is that in tax returns or just straight up payment?
Galaxy Note 9 is like $200 on eBay. That phone rocks and has a headphone jack, too. I’d get the Korean model so you can root it and install a custom ROM so you can have an up to date system
Man, that shit required you to sit in front of your computer all day. It’s abysmal that you can place one tile every 5 minutes is it? I placed one and noped the fuck out
That’s like fining me $0.10
Nope, that’s why there is management. They take care of scheduling. Employees don’t need to do management’s job for them. I always call off at my job, never heard my manager tell me to find someone to cover my shift, they take care of it. This is a culture that restaurants made us think is ok, and it is not
You shouldn’t even “find someone to cover your shift”. That’s the manager’s job. If the manager is not the owner then a call to corporate is necessary. If they’re the owner then fuck this place.
I’ll take that. A win for Ubuntu is a win for Linux (I hope?)
