And my “vote” (likely) has the same actual power as theirs.

I’m sure the more bespoke options can be made that way. I just checked the red wing site and it looks like their heritage collection come in at a max of size 14. That said, they generally run big (1-2 sizes) so it might be worth visiting a store and trying something on if you can.
Do you need sneakers, or would boots be an option? If so, that opens the door to Goodyear welted boots whose soles can be replaced when they’re worn out by a cobbler. They’re also generally comfortable (especially after being broken in). You can go from premade boots (e.g., redwing) to custom boots; costs escalate quickly the more bespoke they are, obviously.
There are some Goodyear welted sneakers, but boots are probably easier to find.
I know it’s probably not the most popular suggestion, but the goodyearwelt subreddit is a great place to look for recommendations and reviews and post questions.
Similarly, it’s a bit broken that you see the perception check failed notifications. Like, ok, I don’t know what is there, but I know something is there. In real life I’d have no idea and I’d go on about my day.
Right? I don’t have her as part of my active party - she just hangs out at camp. So one night I strolled over and was like, “Yo, you seem to be looking at me differently.” And then, basically, she was all, “Yep, you’re doing shit to me. Let’s fuck.”
Meanwhile, I’m crushing hard on Shadowheart, taking her along on all the adventures, chatting her up, and all I’ve got to show for it is a stupid kiss and her giddy schoolgirl remarks when I speak with her now.
Oh I didn’t even think of fast traveling as an option!
This may be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen related to a video game. It’s just… perfect.
I managed to get into the Goblin Camp temple without killing anyone outside the big front doors. Once inside, I ended up killing everyone. When I tried to walk back out the front door, everyone went hostile. I ran back in and they didn’t follow, which was odd, but okay. I didn’t think I’d be able to beat the mass horde outside in a giant melee battle, so instead I blessed, bard songed, and sanctuaried Asterion and gave him the misty step necklace. He walked outside by himself and was beset by everyone, but he managed to dash, misty step, and hide his way to safety. From there, he poked around the edges, picking off single foes with his long bow and causing some chaos before sneaking back into the shadows. On my third probe, though, I got careless, and it looked like he might get overrun. Then the other three emerged into a now empty courtyard with the goblins all looking away. Wiped out the rest of the goblins and cleared the whole camp. Ultimately, my favorite part of this whole thing is imagining my PC bard telling Asterion inside the temple, “So, I know you’re not going to like this, but I’ve got a plan to get us out of here…”
I also can’t wait for the “Arcane Wardrobe” mod, including items like the grand wizard hat and robe.
I haven’t wrapped act 1 yet and I’ve been playing what seems like forever. So much to explore and do, and so many people to meet. I already have plans for a replay, but at this rate it will be 2024 before that kicks off…
I’m really trying to do more of this. When I first started BG3 I just attacked first out of habit, but I’ve now switched to an approach where - when I see something that may involve a fight - I move my party quietly into advantageous spots, then stroll in casually with my bard to strike up a conversation. Worst case scenario, I’m covered by the party, best case they emerge after the conversation wraps up.
60 songs that explain the 90s.
That or “only following orders.”
Maybe you haven’t, but clearly some others have.
Nothing gets me excited in this game like sneaking up behind some asshole standing on the ledge of a cliff, or a roof, or whatever and just putting my shoulder into them.

I’m really enjoying it, though my sleep schedule is not. The story thus far seems pretty good (I’m still super early in the game), and I’m enjoying the chess-like nature of the battles and the ways you can interact with the environment. All in all I’m happy I bought it, and there is tons of replay potential.
Surely this isn’t a serious question?
Two that I often quote:
Into each life, a little rain must fall. (almost always delivered sarcastically)
And:
Well, people in hell want ice water.
I loved that woman. Wish I would have known her better.
Have you had any romantic interactions with her at all in any act? If not, I doubt you’re getting frisky with her starting in act 3, but I could be wrong.
