A pair of would-be developers with links to an international gold mining company have lost their legal fight for $5.5 million in compensation after a rural acreage they were land-banking near Coffs Harbour was swallowed up by the Pacific Highway upgrade.
Couldn’t have started in a worse way if you wanted my simpathy.
And yet, it’ll keep being available in the high seas.
I don’t think there is any commercially available macropad that allows remapping without compiling. A custom macro with a controller that runs MicroPython though, like the Raspberry Pi Micro, can be modified by changing the source code, so no extra software needs to be installed. See this as an example https://blog.4dcu.be/diy/2021/04/05/Macropad.html
If you have enough light, close your aperture to something like f10 or higher, and increase your ISO to some value where you’re comfortable with the noise, like 6400. Test different shutter speeds depending on the action that you’re trying to capture, but the small aperture will help with the focus.
Maybe try manual focusing too, at small apertures you can set a large focus plane that will capture all the action.
Relatively easy to whip up yourself for little money if you have access to a 3D printer and a soldering iron. Get a RP2040 development board for $2, 9 switches and keycaps and hand solder them directly, you don’t even need to source diodes.
Usually the recommendation is to take short, no longer than 30 minutes naps. Supposedly, after 30 minutes you go into deep sleep and waking up will make you feel tired. I haven’t reviewed the scientific validity of the claims, but it has always worked for me.
Being a bit pedantic, and could be wrong, but wouldn’t that make Namecheap your registrar only, which registers whatever nameservers you give it for the domain you own with the relevant gTLD entity?
If all was containerised, I’d recommend traefik for its impeccable container integration, but for a mix of bare metal and container services I’d go with Caddy.
Any examples of such rust-focused solutions that popped up?
I wish to defederate from this particular comment.
Untill it completely makes up a date format that looks reasonable but won’t work.I tried ChatGPT to research, in Rust, how to require at least one feature at compilation time just with Cargo.toml options. Turns out that’s not supported, but that didn’t prevent ChatGPT from trying to gaslight me with some hallucinations about options that would do this. It’s a waste of time when you can’t differentiate hallucinations from recollection, for an experienced dev parsing documentation without this uncertainty should be much more efficient.
Did it grow after you bought it?
Shame they’re in no position to buy, I wonder if they would be if people or corporations weren’t allowed to own a “few” rentals. Or if reducing the pressure on the market brought by people or corporations who own a “few” rentals would at least make it easier for them to rent in the first place since other people who have to rent would be buying instead.
This was definitely written by ChatGPT
I’d understand paying for an active feature, like to SEND voice messages, but not having to pay to restrict spam sent my way.
The lack of indexable pages is a killer, what a waste of human time to be answering the same basic questions because every previous answer gets sucked into the black hole of a walled chat room with bad search.

I’m enjoying it, good work!
