one thing i cant stand are the people that bag up their dog shit, and then leave it on a trail. immediate mood ruiner when im trying to enjoy the wonders of our planet… and i see a plastic bag of dog shit. like, you’re doing more harm than good and youre probably aware of that very fact. these people are the human equivalent of dog shit.

im very tempted to, spotify has been kinda shitty lately

(on pixels at least) if you go into your google settings from the settings app, manage your google account, data and privacy, web and app activity, google is tracking literally EVERYTHING you do on your phone if you have this on. this was the most egregious invasions of privacy I’ve ever seen, baked into android and hidden away for users to disable, and it’s even harder to disable if you dont have a pixel. google does not give a fuck about “privacy” on android, they could start by just tearing all that stuff out but thats how the money is made so we’re left with alternatives like grapheneos.

bluetooth works out of the box in most distros ive tried, so does my nvidia gpu, you can use office in a browser or one of its foss alternatives, and ive had no issues with steam either thanks to valve giving a fuck about linux. what are you going on about?

just got 2 lenovos to begin my self hosted journey B)

ive owned a pixel 2 xl, 4, 5, and currently on a 6 xl, ive enjoyed my pixels but (mostly in the case with the 4 and 5) they have some sorta dealbreaker. my 2 xl was great but the regular sized 4 was notorious for horrible battery, which it definitely had, so i got a 5 when it came out which was a decent phone but i wanted more speed and 120hz so when the 6 series came out i thought it would be a good upgrade to stay on. at first the bugs were kinda bad but they’ve been ironed out. at this point im just sad my bootloader is locked so i cant install grapheneos 😔 as for whether i wanna stay with pixels, i dont enjoy googles spying so if another good pixel comes out thats worth upgrading to in a few years comes out i may get an unlocked one, or just jump ship entirely

i actually regret getting rid of my wii u. it had a solid library of games and i sold it to gamestop to buy overwatch and a couple other games during a steam sale. only years later did i learn that the wii u is probably the best console for playing the entire nintendo catalogue. rip.
