Sometimes you might need an urgent answer (eg, overflowing sink or a weird smell coming from an appliance problem) and don’t have time to fill out a serious form

I mean, as a nerd with no interest in prom, it wasn’t all bad. My hs has us still do graduation almost as normal (masks and spacing, ofc), with the only major difference being that it was split across multiple days so we could fit everyone on the front lawn.
The fact that they had to do the speeches six times was the only reason I was slightly glad to have missed out on being valedictorian/salutorian
huh
That… Actually seems like not that bad of an idea (at least for forum/reddit/lemmy bots)
Well, if you ignore the infeasibility aspect of getting the humans to cooperate and stuff
Assuming short busses are the same as minibusses, it’s kinda funny because my old school district uses them for transporting the ‘intellectually gifted’ students to a special advanced class. so ‘taking the minibus’ is something of a compliment where I’m from.
When I want to be annoying (and when the people I’m talking to are aware of furries), I pronounce it ‘yiff’
I still have 8 lemmy apps installed on my phone lol
the fun thing is that this graph is more-or-less accurate (I don’t have a pool so I can’t judge that one) for me despite being an American with no connection to Canada.
Yes but the at a certain point/temperature the color of flames circle back to blue
Meh? It’s a “thin-and-light” gaming laptop, so it’s quite decent, but idk if that counts as ‘godly’.
Am I going crazy or something? Gimp loads in under 5 seconds on windows for me, and that’s with an absurd amount of crap (unity, blender, a vm, and 400+ browser tabs across 5 browsers) running in the background.
As a longtime infinity user, I can’t wait to give it a spin!
They’re also fairly popular in China! When I was visiting family in Shanghai, a sizeable chunk of the bus service consisted of electric trolley busses.
Say what you will about huawei, but in the years when they were fighting to challenge Samsung, both companies made some exciting products.
Personally it depends. Back in reddit, my quippy remarks/attempts to be funny seem to get a decent upvote rate, but for more serious comments/questions/discussions, lemmy definitely has more interaction
Yes, but I have no clue how to use it, lmao
When did Sleipnir get scoleosis
As someone who has 6 lemmy apps installed, and constantly cycling between them, I’d say for now connect and liftoff are the best although each has issues that the other migitates. I’d say you won’t go wrong with either option, with it mostly being personal preference.
As a former user of infinity for reddit connect feels a bit closer layout to what I was used to, but liftoff seems to have a slightly better ui.
There was a time quora was genuinely interesting/useful as an a2a site for all your ‘expert opinion’ questions. Now it’s just another social media
I feel ashamed to not have realized that the original image was mocking the gun argument until I read this comment
