ooh I AM in the market. Ty!
RIGHT??! He must have just read some tabloid for news.
Or “I don’t recall that,” or “I don’t know” some person he’s had daily contact with for years.
I’m pretty sure there’s still relationship drama in polyamorous relationships.
It’s a U.S. thing! Yay! You can buy insurance for it if you do a lot of backpacking but that’s rare. I believe it’s in the five figures for a rescue. But apparently occasionally it can be free if you’re lucky enough to get rescued by the one agency whose name I forget.
Correct. I have no idea why people are freaking out over drinking water. We constantly eat and drink things that have wildly different osmolarity than our cells and yet here we still are. Our stomach and intestinal mucosa cells are not going to burst if we accidentally drink a milkshake (a hyperosmotic solution).
Or just eat food along with water. Under normal conditions drinking distilled water is just fine. But if you’re running a marathon in 100 degree F weather then yes you should also get some salt. This is why sports drinks and pedialyte is better for hydration for strenuous exercise.
Yes that is why saline is used to as an IV fluid instead of water. But if you’re not injecting it straight into your blood stream, the osmolarity of the liquid does not matter so drinking distilled water is completely fine.
This was also my impression, especially after the republican primary debate where they were scarily almost all anti-helping ukraine.
That’s not what they’re saying. No one’s going to stop you from living in a suburb 50 miles from your job. But the argument is that maybe a city should stop encouraging people to do so by investing their limited resources in mass transit and denser housing, thus giving some people the option of NOT having to live 50 miles away.
Finally, something at my level.
Is Houston aware that some cities pay hundreds of millions of dollars to install a rail line to address this exact problem?
I like to imagine you huddled over an ice field, stirring water in a pot until it turns to the perfect slushy consistency for your fresh homemade ice.
I never see this mentioned but Darknet Diaries is actually a really informative and entertaining podcast about hacking, the dark web, physical penetration testing (gone wrong), nation-state cyber attacks.
For times when you want to do nothing but watch youtube, learn to knit or crochet so you can feel a little better about doing something.
Outdoor gardening is surprisingly easy to get into and it is super cool to see how big plants can get with a little water and care. Also it’s like a pet in that it helps you get out on the bad days since they need tending.
Yes this feels like the real reason but they don’t always have the self-awareness to understand the basis for their opinions and have never had the need to take that deep-dive into questioning why they hold the beliefs they do.
It is so ironic that conservatives have no issues with teenagers getting breast augmentation surgery as long as they’re biologically female, but have an issue with trans surgery for ADULTS. Coming from a religion where tattoos or non-ear piercings are expressly forbidden but breast augmentation is a-ok, it’s almost like it’s more about towing the line of what they deem socially acceptable than it is about any concern for people.
I really would have liked being a fly on the wall watching a firee console the firer.
