I may not have had a good air cooler but I rarely hear my pump unless I put it up high then it’s only cause I’m listening afterI changed the speed. Usually it works fine on regular or low. I haven’t had an air cooler for about 8ish years now either so good chance they’ve improved.
Haven’t checked out many of their reviews I’ll keep them in mind, at first I had them confused with guru3d who seem to come up often for parts reviews. I always like to find the worst points of a few reviews then if they don’t seem too bad maybe the product is acceptable heh. Though you do need a handful to check for sure.
I like the AIOs cause the fans don’t sound like they’re lifting an aircraft carrier. I’m more conscious of noise cause my gaming PC is near to the main tv so don’t want my gf to be inconvenienced when she is watching TV, I suppose I could get a lower sound fan that’d do it well (haven’t really looked at options for years) but most of them sounded loud when I switched and I like my toys too, though I swear my previous version was making a whining noise for awhile (pump I think) but long since upgraded since I forgot to check radiator size one case upgrade.
I’ve lived where tap water tasted like shit, not quite literally but eveytime I went home I’d have to remember not to drink the tap water. Eventually that town got a better water treatment plant but I can sort of see it from that angle. We always had the big 4gallon jugs (again may not be correct but the bigger jugs that sit on top for a dispenser) for regular drinking water
Thankfully where I moved to (many many kms away) the tap water was awesome, don’t live there now but I still do tap water over filtered for the most part. Never seems that much worse so may as well.
Really the only reason you’d drink the other tap water was cause you’re hungover…also been there. Then you remember that there’s a water dispenser somewhere in that house cause no one drank the water from the tap in the town. Even the better water wasn’t great but still noticably improved.
Ya heard of me?
Who hasn’t heard of…(Stop now before I type out the script).
He was hilarious, but I hope he knows he probably can’t do it quite the same and maybe get replaced by the novice, homogenized milk. I really got no idea what fat content of milk is used for yogurt but think you get the idea. He could even be quite fabulous.
No Sierra adventure games? Those were awesome in the mid-late 80s. Also no Lucas Arts adventure games. Mean the list isn’t awful but none of those really were a staple game type for awhile. You could get your money’s worth with some stupid puzzle or figuring out the exact text to type ah fond memories.
Not sure how many people will get this, but way back when I have Eve online a go, I made either some containers or markers (guessing markers? Cause otherwise I’d have just took the cargo but can’t recall why I had two then), but they were called the bees knees and the cat’s pajamas. For some reason I always liked those terms for something good. I’m ‘only’ in my 40s so not quite from my time lol.
Sometimes you may not have a choice with who fights you. I recall once in Calgary a few decided to try and fight our group and we just disengaged, but if they were adament about fighting there was little we could do. It was quite random and we’d were in our middle teens and don’t think we said anything first but it’s going back like 30 years so recollection is hazy. I think we were just walking around in the evening is all.
So people just are looking for a fight and maybe our disinterest curbed their desire but I have no doubt there are others who wouldn’t be curbed by that and just want to beat on people.
I do agree with the general sentiment but sometimes even if you do everything correctly the wrong outcome happens.
I do not, no proof. If there was a god such as in the Bible why give us reasoning abilities when they give no proof? And if so, then I put forward the idea that if there is such a god, they don’t care if we believe so why bother?. Not to go all gamer but like the Sims, they made us and took out the pool ladder and saw what happened.
If there is a god that has such powers and cares, well fuck them cause they ain’t helping us it seems. If they are well we’re too far off course for it to matter, this playthrough is spiraling and it doesn’t matter if we believe or not cause we may be circling the drain.
So seems easier not to believe because if you do it’s more depressing.
Forget the value for sale offhand but yes you can harvest organs and replace them. Had to remove and put back in a brain when I played last.
Being able to save the state when you have something come up doesn’t make a game a game though. I can see not allowing save scumming (don’t care for that term but not the point) but you should be able to leave a game at your leisure and be able to return to it without having to have the system turned on and ready to play. People can’t always tell how long or much progress a game requires you to be at it before you have to do a large chunk over again because of other responsibilities.
I do see cutscenes being more difficult to handle this but if they’re putting in unskipable cutscenes then that’s something they should figure out, or allow you to skip if needed.
Hah I always confused the name with that one with the episode Disaster (had to look it up Picard and kids winning something), no wonder I rarely watched it. Cause I’m pretty sure they go up ladders in turbolifts in that one so just thought that was that episode. But I recall liking the backwards people starting fires. To be fair I don’t watch much TNG these days but still my favorite series by far (also haven’t watch a series since Enterprise so may need to catch up).
Is that the one they start a fire in the area they’re in and then get shown the replicator? If so that general one always stuck though been many years now, but don’t recall the laughing offhand. I’ll have to watch for Stewart laughing, I love those kinds of reactions.
I bought it cheap one sale in the last…oh five years ago or so (time is funny at this age) but I definitely had that experience. Sometime I want to get really into it to check I out but know I’ll need to go invest in some training time to understand the mechanics to make the time seems relevant.
It reminds me of Gothic 1 really, it was brutal but a fun RPG, not as open as this one was(recall it being relatively small to even GTA 3 standards) but open for its era. Think I had to try killing a stupid mob for ages in that one, actually didn’t get fa but it was done so well at the time.
I’ve used a PC with Kodi on it for my main tv for over a decade now, think I used it under it’s previous name even. I’ve had few complaints, occasionally there’s a video that won’t play but works in VLC but that’s pretty rare. Sometimes it doesn’t pick up new videos properly but that’s just expected for some file names.
What if I’ve been paying for years without incident? There’s a thing where I can do autopay for mobile (Canada) where it’s $10 off the bill. I always hate the idea of autopay but they’ve never overcharged a bill…so far. By years I mean it’s been over a decade now.
Mostly curious if your stance still says no to this situation as well. I’ll guess yes, but still it’s $10 a month so adds up to almost a fast food meal these days lol.
For no perks I definitely agree, I pay my crap on time and takes like 5 mins a month to pay online.
Won’t happen functionally, as it’s designed to. I feel for the US citizens, they’ll break it all. From Canada where they had a new system, Phoenix or something for payroll I think, it caused a lot of hassle and was probably well intentioned, unlike this, but I never read much on it.
There are so many better options to whatever they said, like there are so many better options for a properly run government. These days I just assume this is how the the US people (as a whole, I know many do not want this) want their government run, which is troubling but expected nowadays, unfortunately.
I always liked the line in Dogma about them, don’t turn ideas into beliefs, you can change ideas easier than beliefs. Paraphrased and I understand how much it waters down the whole problem but I still thought the idea of it was nice. Listen and be open, you shouldn’t always need to be rigid. Though mean there are still ideals I’m rigid about, respect, compassion and such. Though I always thought the idea was you thought about what worked best for everyone not just what people said you should do cause tradition.
