I was excited to learn that up to two men can now compete in synchronised swimming team events, but disappointed to discover that there are no such athletes competing in Paris. Maybe LA28?
Did you see Andy Lee and his mate in The Comparison Man do synchronised swimming? I’m guessing the real men’s synchronised swimming will not involve any hairy legs but instead nice smooth muscular pins.
I did no, but, yes, the real thing is much more muscular and bronzed.

I’ve managed to get a couple of sales on my items which is good news. Apparently eBay now hold the money until after the item is delivered if you are an infrequent seller - I approve in general as an anti-scamming measure, but it is annoying to have to pay the postage up front before you have the payment. Fortunately it was not a high postage cost.

I did exactly this the last time I went to Department of Transport (WA). I was still 36th in the queue 20 minutes before opening. I think I had a whinge about it at the time.
I definitely had a whinge about the first attempt, when I was turned away an hour before closing because they weren’t going to get through the people already in the waiting room.
All I was doing was collecting a number plate. 2 minute thing.
The only time I’m thankful for a bus, when they have the heater on 🙌

Bloody hell it was cold on that run.
There was definitely lots of frost around this morning. My morning dog walk was a bit shorter than usual - I was pretty well rugged up but my nose and fingers were very chilly. It’s unfortunate that full gloves make it too hard to hold the dog leash securely.
@just_kitten - My wife passed her exam too thanks to Rowan.
On another note, TIL that the smooth stop Rowan taught me in the first hour is called the Limousine Stop.

I’ve got a 10yo home sick too. The good part is that he’s pretty easily entertained but because he’s sick he wants Mum’s attention every 15 minutes and Mum is trying to study and get this bloody assessment done.
Fuck I would kill for a 10 year old cause you can just stick ‘em in front of a movie and buy yourself like 20 minutes to scratch yourself. Toddler can’t communicate his needs so I can’t tell if the sudden fussiness is feeling worse or actually just bored.
Every age has its advantages and disadvantages! At least you have the potential for a daytime nap. Mine has stolen the TV to play roblox…
