Are you also staring out at the sun and debating just getting up and going and pulling the fire alarm?

some pics of my old sewing machine after spending many hours refinishing the woodwork. It was so bad, it had huge patches where there no finish at all and much lifting and bubbling of veneer. It’s still really beat up. I haven’t waxed it yet which should help filling holes. Later today I’ll be having a go at using a tough wire brush on that base, the softer brush did nuttin’.

    and some patina

Anyone watching the Deeming v Pesutto defo trial?

    Impressions

Deeming comes across as an indignant dumbass, and I can’t help but believe Pesutto, Southwick and Crozier’s view that she was not remorseful or willing to do what she needed to do to unfuck things after the nazi-adjacent rally. Deeming did not seem to understand she does have certain obligations to step in line behind the Liberal brand and focus on issues that might have a reasonable chance of winning seats in an election.

Pesutto was not threatening her when he said an option was that she could resign from the party to prosecute her views – instead of ultimately being expelled for bringing legal action against him.

Deeming plays a victim, claims she was powerless and limp, suggests she has no idea how to write a press release and claims she was subject to bullying or being railroaded by the Liberal leadership team. Simply did not occur that way in my opinion. She dominates the meetings that were recorded, routinely talks over colleagues and plays ignorant about the issue at hand.

    She’s a moron.

Deeming comes across as having some pretty awful narcissistic tendencies. She’s in it for herself, not for the party and is playing victim while being a bully is one.

Unfortunately she is not part of a team and the other liberal psychos and narcs don’t want her.

I am glad I do not know these drop kicks.

    Out and about today.

Had to travel to Keysborough to pick up something then finally I’m back at at Southland treating myself out to a coffee and chilling at a cafe inside.

Have to do a lot of food shopping and was thinking of maybe picking up some spare clothes since the buttons on all my of sleep shirts seems to have all popped off.

Thankfully it’s a bit quieter here today compared to last week.

Hope it’s a fairly painless process today.

I think it might be time for me to get off this seat and finish off this coffee to get my shopping done before I get too tired and lazy.

I think all this decaf coffeee I’ve been drinking is actually keeping me awake at night.

        I’m zombielike tiday.

            ok. Lets test you out.

            1. Say you know nothing about subject matter, are you going to go and make promises to the business around subject mater with 0 consultation with the experts?
            2. Microsoft release a shiny new product, do you: A) Wait for it to mature and industry feedback before testing to see if its a good fit for the business? B) Rush to deploy, consequences be damned having learnt nothing about the last time you did this and it was a complete disaster?
            3. A project has been committed. An approach has been agreed with the subject experts. Do you consult with your team before announcing a complete change in the approach and scope?

Seriously. If you stop, listen and consult you would be 10x the department head than the one we have.

last nights’ go at the SMC

Didn’t realise the dew was gonna be so bad so only used 12 x 5mins exposures instead of the 24 I took. Shit happens. Will probably end up using only 4 and will have to take another bunch another night. Good to see the equipment still works though.

Yeah, with my islander mates. It was fun and mild. There’s a bit of a ceremony thing we did which was fun but probably unnecessary. Having the nitrous wear off and feeling not returning to head was novel. I rolled the lads a joint with a scrap of dmt in it so we got nice sparkles too. Good times at bush doofs.

Throw open that door, bask in those well needed vitamin d rays and sneeze yourself senseless for the rest of the day.
