It’s intelligent? Kind of, like it’s super smart no. But I mean I wouldn’t call it dumb either, there are dumber people out there. Like I feel it has the right amount of if else conditions to be smart/intelligent enough.
Trying to control language is a stupid pointless task. Words mean what we use them as, and that might not be what they originally meant. IMO machine learning = artificial intelligence.

Image AIs are terrible for text, it’s like they’re dreaming about letter shaped objects. Once out of hundreds of times I was able to get it to do a picture of a shop where the sign actually said Grocery.
