Yes because it’s the only freedom I have left

I’ve got 21 more of these memes to post over the next few weeks >:)

As per my usual answer to these trolly “problems,” I jump in front of the trolley before comprehending the situation
Hey no fair, trolley suicide is my answer too
OK, here is one. The trolley is on a hill. Attached to an indestructible cable. Pulling the lever will cause the cable to pull it back up the hill. This takes 30 minutes, then the lever will need to be pulled again. You can call for help, but will take 3 days for them to get there. If you leave, no one will know you were there. What do you do?
Even if I were told the lever does nothing, I’d pull the lever. Of course, I would.
Yup. The people who told me the lever doesn’t work might be lying or wrong. Doing anything is better than doing nothing.
you are told the lever does nothing and not to pull it. Do you pull the lever?
*pulls lever
The lever speeds up the trolley.
I remember a variant saying pulling the lever does nothing, all you can do is watch.
Of course, levers are fun!
Pastor says if I pull the lever enough I’ll go blind
Hey, the people tied to the tracks might not know that. If I frantically pull it, at least their final moments show someone trying to save them instead of indifference, even if it’s futile.
Life 💀
Yes, the illusion of control comes through useless action. If that’s all I got, then so be it.
Okay now somebody do a Monty Hall/Trolley Problem.
Presumably the lever is controlling the real trolley problem being run next door.
Yes, in futility
