At the end of the day these things are politically motivated. The “economics” are just academic smoke screen for it all.
Looking at their circles we can see them doing a W with the mission accomplished at news coming out of Argentina. Anyone that is motivated by truth seeking would just say its too soon to tell.

InternetCitizen2@lemmy.worldto Leopards Ate My Face@lemmy.world•Maga voted for cuts and gets cut.English34·7 days agoReminds me of visiting the Libertarian subreddit around the time of the LA fires and the big brains thinking about how to make the fire departments private for profits. That midset is rather universal among republicans (even if not the fire departments, but they will have something that they think would be better as a corporation rather than government agency). Reporter should ask him how long he estimates that the market will signal to investors to pick up the slack.
You should to spite the shareholders.

InternetCitizen2@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•What should I expect upon switching from windows?1·9 days agoI would suggest searching what Linux alts exist for your productivity and install those on Windows. If that hurts your ability to work (in particular paid work) then you won’t have a good time switching over. If you still want to move at least try and get a new hard drive and install linux there. If you don’t like linux then you can swap back to your old windows drive.

InternetCitizen2@lemmy.worldto You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK: Regulations don't exist because governments like them...4·10 days agoI would agree with this. Regulations need to keep up with the times. I’ve often challenged my libertarian/“small” government friends to point out which regulation they want to see removed. Book, chapter, and verse; bonus if they can elaborate on why the context under which it was approved no longer applies. Perhaps I do agree that a regulation needs to be updated or removed. None ever take me up on it. I just let them know that “because I want to” is not a valid starting point for deregulation.
Like the joke goes, Libertarians are like house cats. Completely dependent on a system they neither understand nor appreciate and fiercely confident of their own independence.

InternetCitizen2@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•I swapped the entire school computers to linux mint3·10 days agoSome of the bigger issues with Kdenlive i’ve heard is around GPU acceleration and just force of habbit. Fair enough, I wouldn’t tell someone to jump ship if they productivity and professional skills are taking a hit. People need their livelihood. Still I do hold that most people overestimate how pro their workflow is
