The benchmarks for the M3 have the single core and multicore performances way past similar Intel and AMD chips. Qualcomm’s mobile chips are still no where near Apple’s mobile chips. I do not believe for a second that Qualcomm will catch up to the M2 on their first release.

Thanks for the autorotate! Works great in KDE! I knew the camera was a lost cause, but it causes so many problems in windows I wasn’t worried about it.
I’m running EndeavourOS on my Surface Pro 7. Only 2 things are not working, the camera and I haven’t figured out how to get rotation to work. I am using Wayland compositor with KDE Plasma and occasionally Hyprland.
It’s even more strange! According to one paper, our brains are averaging the last 15 seconds of visual information!
I think it makes more sense letting individuals block what they want instead of at the server level. If you don’t want Meta trash, just preemptively block it.

Valve has said they are not planning on an update anytime soon so I wouldn’t worry about it. If you have a good gaming PC, you can stream games to the Steamdeck for even better gaming!
The difference is this doesn’t solve any problems. It is just a new way to do the same things. It isn’t even any faster. At least the computers in the 80s were a faster way to do what we could do on paper or with older computers.
It’s like $25 right now. I just bought it at work. I’ll put it on the Steam Deck when I get home.
