Not sure what works best in your case. I’m a Debian cat myself but I have been considering openbsd as a future option.
Just a vpn
Thankfully this was discovered before hitting stable distros but I’m hoping it increases scrutiny across the board. We dodged a bullet on this one.
Yea I love the adaptive enemy AI, the way they put on vests and helmets and NVG.
I remember being a kid watching a friend play MGS2 and being amazed when the enemies would sweep the area in formation . Then seeing the footage that they had input from real life soldiers to get it right. The games are labors of love for sure.
Yea its like “just one more mission and then I can develop xyz”.
Thanks for the wholesome comment 😊👍. Hope you have a great week
Still on metal gear solid 5 the phantom pain. I’m taking my time. I’ve put about 60 hours into it so far and still have lots to do. Not bad value when I picked up ground zeros and TPP for like 7 shmeckles in a steam sale.
Dental plan
Great News 👏👏👏
I use a real sounding name like luis.m.donovan1962@gmail.com
The more real it appears the harder it is to distinguish garbage data. Also a personal VPN with aguard home running. If I end up choosing a real existing email, well I’m just helping muddy the profile of someone else.
No shopping apps ever, loyalty cards in a fake name with email aliases to a central junk mailbox.
To hell with the lot of them and their business model.
They can profile the device and get hardware info depending on make and software etc but the gold is their app which sucks up everything including your phone number and what you visit on their network. I wouldn’t dream of connecting without a vpn unless it was an emergency situation.
That being said data is always preferable when you have the option.
This is the way. Fuck them.
Curious to see what it can emulate with the new specs. I have the steam deck now but the form factor or the pi was always nice.
About three fiddy
Linux kernel
OpenBSD
Gnu Hurd
Debian
Tor
Fdroid
SteamOS
Vulkan / DXVK
Wayland
Firefox
Yes I get that but personally I have a huge backlog to get through and there are lots more games the current one can run that have to come down in price too so I’ll be busy for a long time before I start looking for a new one.
I’m glad they are not rushing a new one out until there is some genuine leap in the tech. I think we have become accustomed to pointless upgrades every year which offer nothing substantial other than lining some shareholders pockets.
In my case the longer they take the better 😊
