Is bait.
That looks like an edited picture of a human to me.

Like someone else said letting the university is a decent first step.
YarHarSuperstar@lemmy.worldto Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•Ban of "Nicole" images and potential doxingEnglish19·2 months agoI’ve been thinking this since it started and saying it for a bit. I don’t understand at all how there were memes of this on the front page all the time and it took this long to do even this. Has there been any attempt at an effort to notify whoever is in the picture that this is happening? I would like to help if possible.

It is an expression of dominance and the will to reject and refuse democratic values. It is a display of powerEnglish21·3 months agoOkay. Have you tried looking elsewhere than a blog post that never claimed to be “the truth”?
Anyways that’s a garbage argument. I’d like to know how you’ve been managing not to find anything opinion based in whatever corner of the internet you’ve come from. If you’re only willing to see things that are anywhere near “the truth” you should be reading an academic publication, not social media.

It would be misattributed if they said someone else’s name. Anyways how is it wrong (or whatever you meant) to say that what he’s saying about an older version of similar tech is applicable to a newer iteration? Either way this isn’t a news article, it’s a blog post. Who cares if it’s editorialized?

Also it appears to be a blog post, I don’t really think its intention is to report on the facts but rather provide analysis. Fuck OpenAI for this and many other things, the ire is well deserved.

Not ironic when you realize it’s this but literally. He wants to own all speech.

That’s basically how I’ve always pictured it, like in my mental physics playground or whatever, the many, many particles may not be dense when you take a small sample (like a cubic foot of air or something) but through miles of atmosphere it adds up and the light has lots to bounce around and off of before it gets to you. Do I basically have that right? That comment someone added makes me think im understanding it right but maybe not explaining my understanding quite right, but maybe you get what I’m trying to say.
random motion of the Earth’s atmosphere
Are you able to elaborate on what you mean by this at all please, or possibly suggest a direction to look in to find more about what this means and the implications?
You missed a really funny opportunity by not faking that screenshot
Have you been telling this story a while? Or are you intentionally taking credit for something you didn’t do for meme cred?
Edit: actually double xp meme credit, including the OP meme cred of lying for the meme and also the meme-ness of telling the story as OC
For some reason I feel like these rules were written by a gen x but iDK why
