1 day agoNintendo Switch, I should have known better. Nintendo consoles are great for kids who are new to playing games, not so much for people who have been gaming for generations.

I saw an exhibition here and even without the guilding, masters have a… luminance that is impossible to capture on film or print.

Finally! Of all the gaming companies, I think Sega is #2 behind EA on properties they own that they are doing fuck all with.
I’d love a current gen Burning Rangers, or Phantasy Star (not online).

Ahn is a new character who has been hilarious, as has been Liz the gremlin. I’m not bothered by failing to get another Steve Eating Cereal. LOL.
My guess would be some anti-woketivist snowflake going “Main character in a trans relationship! Reeeeeeeee!” I dunno if we’ll ever find out.
Nintendo titles are, essentially, very good introductory video games. If you’ve played, well, pretty much any RPG, there’s no point playing Zelda or Pokemon. Same for fighting games and Smash Brothers or racing games and Mario Kart.
Everyone has to get started gaming somewhere, but beyond nostalgia? The rest of gaming has moved in from Nintendo.
