Just had the MMJ convo with a Candor doc. Got prescribed some strains. Asked for three to be passed to TGA for approval.

Curious to hear about your experience. My appointment with Dr Bhangoo is on Monday morning, not sure what to expect.

Be honest about previous use, and how it helped. What you’re struggling with, that MC can help with. They ask questions but nothing super crazy.

For me it’s a rather simple, and even pleasant experience talking to them.

I basically spewed out my life story including those things in my online nurse chat so that’s no problem recapping that stuff

Assignment done! 3 days and 2 hours overdue and it wasn’t my best work.

But the most important thing is that it’s done, I should get some kind of grade for it that is a bit higher than a zero, and I’ll be getting feedback on it.

Now onto studying for my exam.

They’re repaving my road, but it seems nobody told the garbos, which has led to some rather interesting noises this morning…

Actually they didn’t tell anyone on my street, so it’s led to some very interesting noises. And lots of beeping

Clearance Kmart sketch kit arrived yesterday. The first thing I cracked into was the sandpaper sharpening board. It’s really small and the wooden backing is chipboard but it’s a vast improvement on trying to smooth/taper pencil leads with a pack of emery boards. (Doable but awkward and very easy to start honing at the wrong angle. They were previously all that was on hand and it was a hassle to buy sandpaper alone.)

Survived the move. Of which more later.
Now on hold to Cennalink while they try to sort out what to do about the inheritance business.

The cat has been real picky lately. Turned his nose up at his usual wet food, so I’ve been trying other brands/flavours.

Seem to have settled on salmon paté, and will try the salmon in gravy later on.

    Finicky, picky little Mickey

Sometimes Melbcat isn’t too excited about her wet food but will eat it with a meal topper of some cracker crumbs, or a couple of treats sprinkled on top. (I know carbs make cats chubby and are bad for their teeth, I’m just being very indulgent because of her age.)

I have tried putting some treats on top, but he’s too smart and won’t have it lol.

He’s been gobbling up the paté, so I think that’s a winner for now.

I was wondering why I wake up in morning with a body battery of 10% and sometimes 90% (according to my watch) even though I get the same amount and quality of sleep.

So I’m doing experiments and found it mainly comes down to night snacking. The more snacks and/or closer to bedtime equals lower body battery in the morning. No snacks equals higher body battery in the morning.

    Interesting. I will keep experimenting.

Well it’s early days for my experiment but I’d take a guess and say it wouldn’t be good for energy levels the next day. Who can resist stuffing face with cheddar shapes at anytime though?

I succumbed to the desire and am paying for it now. Eating extra for the gym is fine, but waking up 3 or 4 times in the middle of the night to smash shapes into my gob isn’t great when you eventually wake up properly.

I find late snacking and alcohol are two culprits. Or stress/allergies/bug. I had the flu a few weeks ago and I am finding it hard to get the body battery back up. I feel like I am sleeping the same but I am obviously coughing or sniffling or something during the night. I actually find it kinda validating to know when I have to rest

I binged Fallout in 2 nights. I’ve never played the game so I have no comments on its authenticity, but it was a fun escapist watch. Built up the mystery in each episode to keep me clicking Next Episode.

I’ve worked what I want for my birthday. A microphone. One that’s compatible with the pioneer. The best of the best because I’m worth it.
